"We had a great time we had staying at this house in the off-season. What a great place! After driving up Friday night, we had a nice breakfast Saturday morning at Dots in Wilmington. We then went and hiked the crosstown trail, followed by a swim / hot tub at the Grand Summit lodge at Mt Snow. On Sunday we grabbed bagels and lattes at the coffee barn and then went to Adams Farm and saw lots of animals. Overall a great time and the house was awesome, large, clean and comfortable."

"My family stayed in this rustic and warm home for a long weekend in October and had the time of our lives. You feel isolated from the world on an incredible peninsula with spectacular southwest facing sunlight. We brought our bikes and within just a few minutes ride down quiet West Shore Road, we stumbled across a lovely winery, then an apple orchard, then antique shops... and just a 5 minute drive was wonderful horseback riding through the Fall colours on trails. We enjoyed BBQ meals on the picnic table overlooking the lake, as well as canoe rides and basketball in the yard. We can't wait to return with our other children in 2015!"

"Three couples spent the weekend here for a wedding in Greensboro. All of us would come back and rent for a longer stay. The setting and home are pristine. Every amenity you can think of. Most beautiful setting in Vermont. The views of Stowe from the heated pool were fantastic. We all highly recommend this home as very special place that would appeal to all."

"This propery was exactly as described! The view of the lake is stunning and since it is marshy at the end where the house is located the lake side of the house is very peaceful. The numerous windows on the lakeside let in tons of light and were great for bird watching.
The traffic from the road is rather loud (especially the occasional tractor trailers!)but after a day full of outdoor activity we slept very well!
We had two elderly dogs with us and appreciated the owners willingness to let us bring our furry friends. One word of warning on that...the floors are painted wood which is great for keeping things clean, but lacks the traction needed by old, big dogs. More than once my German Shorthaired Pointer fell and couldn't get up without assistance.
The kitchen is wonderfully equipped. Using the washing machine is tricky, but once you realize that the door is finicky it works like a charm and it was great to have!
Overall a great place to stay in a central location!"
