"We stayed for five nights at this condo. Loved every moment of it. Very clean. Very well stocked with the various necessities. Great fireplace. True ski-in / ski-out. Quiet, yet close to all the nightlife if one chooses. The owner takes great pride in his investment and those of us, guests, only benefit all the more. Highly recommend this venue!"

"5 of us came up from DC to spend a long weekend touring VT breweries and enjoying the autumn glory of Vermont, and this cabin was a wonderful home for us. Plenty of firewood, wifi (that made the lack of cell signal unimportant), beautiful view and removed from everything, but also a 12-15 minute drive into Waterbury for delicious food and local brews. John was very helpful and responsive despite being on vacation and kind for allowing for a late check out. Also the beds are super comfortable, and the cabin is well stocked with the desired accoutrements. Description and pictures are accurate. Feels like an authentic cozy Vermont mountain cottage. We would easily stay here again!
Waterbury must-go brew pubs and restaurants (best VT beer selection in state): Prohibition Pig (great bbq and beer), The Reservoir, Blackback pub, probably a few other places we didn't try.
Short drive to grocery, Ben and Jerry's Factory, apple cider mill."

"What a great place, in a great spot! The description & pictures are very accurate displaying this great house to enjoy! We had the chance to get away for a few days with our young adult son, who lives out of state and our daughter who is on a break from medical school and were looking for a place where we could enjoy eachother's company and also have a place to just find a quiet spot and relax, which we all needed and we found it all here! Sitting in the adirondack chairs reading a book while seeing the lake was so relaxing, or just taking a nap in the hammock, a perfect vacation day! We enjoyed the great yard & just watching the sunset over the lake and the Adirondacks was beautiful.
It was wonderful having the bikes available & we had a great time riding out on the bike trail toward the bike ferry, another beautiful spot just being right there in the middle of the lake! We also enjoyed the kayaks & rowboat which were a lot of fun. It was perfect to have everything you needed at the house already, from all the firewood, bed linens and towels to anything you could think of in the kitchen to prepare meals & all you needed to do was pick up groceries which was just a quick ride into town, everything else you needed was already there (and very clean too!) We enjoyed our evenings by the fireplace and enjoyed the games there too, all adding to the great experience of being together.
The location here is convenient to Essex where we surprised the kids with a hot air balloon ride with Above Reality, another way of enjoying the beauty of this great area!
I can't say enough of how nice & easy it was to arrange everything for the house with Burt. We were highly satisfied with our experience at the camp & highly recommend to anyone else who has the chance to go!"

"We enjoyed a wonderful weekend getaway with the family at this beautiful house in Waitsfield. Close to Mad River and Sugarbush, the location could not be more ideal. The setting is wonderful surrounded by 20 acres and close to hiking and cross country ski trails. The house is pristine with a great kitchen and a great fireplace (critical!). Lots of bedrooms and bunks for adults and kids. Great front porch for breathing the fresh air and enjoying the views."
