  • I'll be back!

"We are a young couple who chose this property to stay at for our last runs of the season at Mount Snowa to celebrate Easter away from home! What a cozy place to stay! It was so warm and inviting inside after a long day of skiing. The hot tub was also perfect and well maintained. There was also a lot of utensils and cooking supplies so we didn't even need to consider ordering in/dining out. The owner was so nice to communicate with and responded to our inquiries very fast. Our only issue (unrelevant to the specific house) was navigating through Haystack to get to the property. The mud was very deep and hard to push through up hill, making it scary to come back and forth to the house. Thank goodness we had a truck! Overall, GREAT STAY and we would love to come back for some summer golf and next year,s ski season!!"

  • Winter Family Getaway

"For the second year in a row, our extended family (aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings, etc.) stayed at Amee Farm Inn for Christmas week. What a great place to hang out and relax after the frenetic holidays! Some of us enjoyed taking long walks on the back roads of Pittsfield, while the young families with children booked sleigh riding excursions nearby or hiked the trails of the farm across the street. Many of us went off visited local towns like Woodstock, for lunch and novelty shopping. While last year we thoroughly enjoyed sleigh riding on the hills of Amee Farm, this year there was no snowfall. That is not to say that we were disappointed, as there are so many fun things to do in the area. The innkeepers at Amee are very helpful and give you a choice of having their presence throughout your stay right in the Inn or just contacting them on their cells should a problem arise. One day we noticed it was chilly in the main room and after one call to the innkeeper, a maintenance man showed up to remedy the situation. I highly recommend Amee Farm for large groups and my one suggestion is that guests book the place as a large group as opposed to various families who don't know each other staying there together. I say this because I believe that although the 15 bedrooms can accommodate different small groups, the main rooms are not conducive to privacy among strangers. Our large family felt very, very comfortable hanging out together and spreading out throughout the Inn."

  • Absolute blast

"What a lovely, lovely stay. Six adults, two large dogs, three kitties and a whole lot of fun! Warren was the most gracious host! He left flowers, wine and cheese for us at the property and of course Ben & Jerry ice-cream! He was also very friendly and flexible during our booking process, answering all questions patiently, adjusting to our requirements and allowing the cats to come and stay! He was also very helpful and promptly came over when a fuse blew out the lights and the space heater, and later swung by with his aunt to party with us (although just for a little bit). He loves dogs so our pups welcomed him excitedly! This is a very pretty location right on the lake and we had an absolute blast. We cooked a LOT of food, saw a LOT of Amazon and Netflix tv, and played a LOT in the snow. The deck with the propane grill was a super-hit and well utilized by both humans and dogs. The dogs especially had boisterous fun, running around leash free in the snow and even swimming in the lake although it was in the twenties with wind chill. The house had ample space, a roaring fireplace and enough sleeping areas for the whole party. The only drawback was that the central heating wasn't up and running at the time of our stay, so we had to make do with the fireplace and another heater. Upstairs was nice but the ground floor was freezing the day before we left, with gale level lake winds and very cold temperature. But we had so much fun sitting around the fireplace and bundling up in layers of quilts, that I cannot but give this place a 5 star!"
