  • Peaceful!

"I was competing at GMHA and stayed at this delightful schoolhouse with my husband and young daughter. The cottage is very comfortable, clean and well appointed. There is no cellphone or internet capabilities, but this is a welcome respite from our normal lives. Drinking coffee on the deck in the AM and enjoying a glass of wine at night was peaceful and delightful. My husband brought his road bicycle and enjoyed riding the local VT back roads. Lovely cottage!"

  • The perfect retreat

"Spent three wonderful nights at the cabin in July and can't say enough great things. The pictures are true to life, but still don't do it justice. The owner has thoughtful touches throughout the cabin and has compiled quite of a bit of area information as a resource for guests. The kitchen has everything you would ever need and a testament to this is the fact that we had three breakfasts and three dinners at the cabin. We simply didn't want to leave and nowhere else would have the tremendous mountain views of our own table or deck. The location is great for exploring the area and is very close to Woodstock, yet perfectly secluded. We didn't see another soul near the cabin. The bed and bedroom were comfy and the cool evenings were great for sleeping with the windows open. The bathroom was nicely appointed. The living areas were ample and the furniture was perfect. If you have stumbled upon this cabin, do yourself a favor and book it."
