  • Who could ask for anything more?

"This rental far exceeded our expectation. The home was immaculate and well supplied and the furnishings and decorations were perfect for a vacation home. Aside from the great lake and land view from our kitchen table and outside deck, the skylights inside allowed lots more light to brighten an already cheerful living area. The friendly owners live nearby and they are always ready to provide help or answer any questions. We love to fish and planned on using the rowboat available at no cost along with our electric motor. We, however, decided to rent the pontoon boat (what a great rate for the week!) and it was absolutely a senior's dream to use as a fishing boat. We caught white perch, chain pickerel and bass. A short walk on Shadow Lake Road took us to amazing meadows filled with Lupus! Blue, pink and white stalks were in full bloom. We also enjoyed the quiet surroundings and actually went into town twice to the local diner for a bit of conversation and an abundance of tasty food. Next year we are considering a rental in both spring and fall. The foliage might be more beautiful than the Lupus! We definitely recommend this place."

  • Great weekend in pristine home

"We spent a long weekend at this lovely home with our toddler and preschooler and two dogs. It was a total pleasure. The house was impeccably clean and modern. The kitchen was a chef's dream, with new appliances and lots of great cooking tools. Beds and furniture were very comfortable and the back deck was paradise. Once we put the gate at the stairs (main part of the house is on the second floor) we could let the kids play without worry. There is a fire ring outside perfect for a fire and s'more making. The river is pretty but it was inaccessible with little kids. The Pizza Stone was great for take out and nearby Chester is very cute. We drove over to Echo Lake to swim at the beach and there is a great playground in Ludlow behind the tank on Main Street. You can't go wrong with this house: clean, modern, comfortable, and in a great location."

  • Wonderful condo!

"This is a beautiful condo. It's well maintained and has charming decor. The back deck is lovely! The kitchen is well supplied with most any kind of pan and utensil to cook anything your heart desires. And there are many charming restaurants and shops nearby. The views from the front deck and the whole setting there is cozy, magnificent and perfectly Vermont! This is from someone who grew up in Vermont and holds it dear to my heart. We would highly recommend "Skyview" condo to anyone."
