  • "Just right"

"My two Labs and I spent a week at "Hedgehog Hill Cottage" in early May and we had a wonderful time enjoying early spring in Vermont. The cottage is well situated, high on a hillside, with beautiful views from every window. It offers a tranquil experience (very quiet, with a series of private trails right behind the cottage), and at the same time is close to many of the treasures that Vermont has to offer, from exceptional hiking (Healdville Trail hike was amazing! scrambling through ice and snow to reach the summit) to local artisans, historic sites (e.g., Calvin Coolidge birthplace), and just the natural beauty of the area. Ron was very accommodating and helpful as I planned my trip and provided detailed directions to the cottage, which I very much appreciated. The cottage was immaculate, cosy, comfortable and home-like. The kitchen is very well equipped. There is a binder full of interesting suggestions of places to go, things to see, driving time to each ... obviously a lot of thought and care has gone into making your stay enjoyable. The dogs enjoyed all the fresh air, open space, and finding places to swim--their main interest--of which there are certainly ample in this area. I had not been in Vermont in many years and now I know I will certainly be back! thanks again for a great stay. PS the bed in the master bedroom is super comfortable too!"

  • Excellent Condo Stay

"The condo was perfect for our 2 day soccer tournament. It comfortably housed 6 teen-aged girls and 2 moms. The pool was a hit after a hot day of games. Both the owner and property manager were responsive and regularly checked in during our stay. The condo was clean, had all the amenities, and I highly recommend it. We look forward to snagging it again next year!"

  • Frequent VT visitor from southern NJ

"We had a wonderful time and the place was better than advertised. Our hosts were so personal, checking in on us regularly to see if we needed anything. Provided us with dining tips, fishing location suggestions and offering to help get out boat out of the water at the end of the trip. We have two dogs and they also loved our hosts who were really good with them."

  • Cozy condo

"My family and I stayed here just before Christmas and we had a great time. The condo is clean and cozy. The living space is larger than it appears in the pictures. The location is awesome - truly ski in/ ski out. Best of all, the owners are lovely and accommodating. We will be back and will definitely consider renting here again."
