  • Perfect peace and quiet

"We loved staying in this beautiful home. Within easy reach of the charming village of Greensboro, the home sits high up and set back from the road, surveying a truly expansive front lawn. The photos don't do full justice to this lovely home, which is decorated comfortably and tastefully. For our family of five the house felt spacious, with plenty of room for three teenagers to have their own space and also to gather in front of the fireplace for fun evenings together. The kitchen had everything we needed (and more) and was a pleasure to cook in. The house was clean and very well-maintained. We appreciated the two kayaks, canoe and three bikes in the garage, as well as the charcoal grill. The trails behind the house were fun to explore with our dogs. Nicole was incredibly helpful, giving us recommendations for things to do in the area and generally being hospitable and welcoming. We had fun exploring the area, including trips to Bread and Puppet, Hardwick (Positive Pie), East Glover, Hill Farmstead Brewery, Montpelier, Barr Hill, Craftsbury Outdoor Center and more. Lots of fun to be had, too, at the public beach in Greensboro and out on the lake in kayaks. Willies general store was extremely well stocked with produce, meats, cheeses (some from local cheese maker Jasper Hill) and a good selection of wine and beer. All in all we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thanks Nicole!"

  • Beautiful Home in a Great Location

"Just returned from a wonderful vacation in this beautiful home. We loved this location which is only 5 minutes from Stowe but down a nice country road away from the hustle and bustle. It has all the amenities including a Keurig coffee maker, Soda stream (to make your own pop!), programmable double-oven (we found this handy as we pre-set the oven, left for the day and dinner was ready when we got back) as well as a gas bbq and wonderfully large deck. It is beautifully furnished throughout. The master bedroom and ensuite is huge. Gorgeous mountain view from the king-size bed in the master bedroom! Both the master and 2nd bedroom upstairs have large walk-in closets. The 2nd bedroom is also a good size with an ensuite. The 3rd bedroom is downstairs and has a double bed with a single bunk on top. There is unfortunately no closet downstairs but there is a nice chest of drawers in the room. The theatre room is just outside this bedroom. You'll enjoy the privacy since the home is located on a large country property with a beautiful view of Mt Mansfield. In the evening you can see the lights of the Trapp Family Lodge way up on the hillside. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone!"

  • Birthday celebration

"This was a wonderful family get together to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. Family came from CT, MA, ME and VA to make this celebration wonderful. This home offered so much, from comfortable sleeping accommodations, to an excellent, well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed wonderful evenings playing hours on the Foosball table and the bumper pool. The fire pit was amazing! Brought back wonderful memories of when we camped at Camp Plymouth State Park. We were centrally located to everything; Okemo Mtn, Calvin Coolidge Homestead, Quechee Gorge Village, Long Trail brewery, MacLaomainn's Scottish Pub, Adirondack trail. We would definitely come back again. Thank you!"
