  • Amazing farmhouse, great hostess

"My family rented Angela's farmhouse for the weekend of my wedding. I live in VT but this allowed most of my out of state family and friends to stay with us, have brunch the day after the wedding, etc. It's an amazing house. Historic with just the right modern updates. Grill, fire pit, enough seating for 16.. what more could you ask for? Angela even left a bouquet of roses for me.. she really did think of everything! If I had had a small wedding of just immediate family, I would have gotten married at this lovely place!! Angela was very responsive when I inquired more about the farmhouse before booking and during the many months before our arrival. She really pays attention to the details! Only issue with the stay was the basement fridge wasn't working. We alerted Angela and she offered to keep some of our food at her own home since it wouldn't be possible to fix during our stay! I also wish it had been more clear if long distance calls could be made or not- even if they were billed to us later! Cell service is spotty, so that would be have been helpful Overall- I miss the farmhouse and hope I will one day have a chance to return. Having the farmhouse as a "homebase" during my wedding made the day so lovely, especially with the fireplace on the cold day in September!! We had guests staying overnight between the ages of 25 and 80 and we all loved it. My mother didn't want to leave :)"

  • Perfect spot in Stowe

"Our family of five just spent a fabulous week at Debra and Joel's town home. From the minute we got there we kept saying how perfect it was. Large, beautifully decorated, well stocked with everything we needed, clean, cheery and outstanding location. Debra and Joel were very helpful and warm. The grounds and facilities of the resort are extremely nice and it's close to everything. We highly recommend this property and we totally recommend a week in Stowe. We will definitely be back and hope to stay at this beautiful property again."

  • Perfect Family Vacation

"Earlier this summer I stayed at the Lodge for a long weekend with several girlfriends. We had such an incredible time that I arranged to return for my family's annual summer vacation, including our two dogs. We weren't disappointed. We were greeted with a wonderful gift basket overflowing with Vermont goodies. There was so much for the kids to do right there...no need to drive for hours to get to that "fun spot"...it was all there! We swam, hiked, biked, and paddled. We even managed a friendly game of basketball. The bedrooms were comfortable, the living area was spacious and inviting, and the kitchen met all of our needs. The washer/dryer was a huge plus as well as having all the towels and linens we needed. The patio was a peaceful place to gather and the dock was a serene place to relax and read a good book. The owners are lovely people and most hospitable. They aided us with everything from tending a yellow jacket sting to sharing historical tidbits. We are already planning a winter getaway and perhaps a day trip to cut our very own special Christmas Tree. This is definitely a place where memories are made. Thanks for a great stay!"

  • Great place

"Great place. This is my third year staying here. Great location. Tons of activities for kids in the village within walking distance (rec path, malt shop, playground, restaurants). Many other outdoor activities just a short drive away."
