  • Vacation in Vermont

"We all had a wonderful time-.Our whole family-myself, my husband, 2 children and their spouces and 2 grandchildren were all able to be together. The cabin was very comfortable (after we found the window air units) and acomadating for all our needs. We have never rented from an individual before so I found myself being a little over-protective of the home but still allowing everyone to relax/enjoy themselves. Having all the extras there, such as cooking suplies,(and all the little extras you sometimes miss on vacation) toiletries, paper goods, etc was great. You found yourself feeling like you were at home because of all the conveniences. We had a very enjoyable family vacation and would like to thank you for sharing your home with us."

  • Tough Mudder Weekend

"Our 12-person Tough Mudder team stayed in this house for the weekend of Tough Mudder New England at Mount Snow for Friday and Saturday night. The house is cozy and relaxing on a quiet street with lots of room for parking. The house is minutes from Carinthia and Mount Snow's main lodge, a dream for the winter months. The beds were comfortable (except the extra sofa bed, but that's to be expected) and the kitchen was well supplied. Everything in the house is labeled from light switches to drawers which is nice for travelers, don't have to guess where things belong. This house definitely has character and is very welcoming. The only negative thing I have to say is that two days before our arrival through our departure date I have called and left several messages for the owner and still have not heard back. Communication with the owner up until then was great but I'm upset that she disappeared right before we left when we had important questions. The toilet in the basement was also out of order which made things difficult."

"Would definitely recommend this house to anyone! Very clean and beautiful. Literally walking distance to everything. Came with a large group and the owner was very patient with payment from everyone. Looking forward to staying next year!"

  • A special place

"I stayed in this gem when I was in Burlington visiting my daughter who is a student at UVM. She and I fell in love with the place. At first we couldn't figure out the neighborhood and building. It looked sort of industrial and the rushing river right outside although beautiful, looked close to flood level (April)! Then we realized that the area and the buildings are part of Burlington's woolen mill history. The interior of the studio apartment is beautifully remodeled, spotless and simply charming. My daughter wanted to stay with me both nights I was there. She said she wants her first apartment in New York to look just like this! The artwork on the walls makes you feel like you are living in a gallery. Every detail has been addressed: special towels in the bathroom for the beach by the river, a hook for the bottle opener in the kitchen, local granola, honey and even the soaps! I made a home cooked meal for my daughter and some of her friends in the fully stocked kitchen. We had a blast! Jennifer and Greg were eager to help and very accommodating and have obviously worked hard to make this a special place."
