  • Just Perfect!

"We all wanted to transplant this house to our town so we could live in it! I really could have just stayed here and lived here forever. I regret not staying longer. No one wanted to leave. It was a couples weekend and it could not have been more perfect. The house felt like it was in the middle of nowhere which was a great treat from the hustle and bustle. So clean, have nothing to complain about. It was just a 20-25 min ride to Killington Mt. where we skied. There was a beautiful river across the road that was so peaceful to look at. It was so great coming back to the house after skiing to the fire place and the great jacuzzi tub! Highly recommend this house to anyone whether it is a ski vacation, or just a vacation to hang out. There was no TV, which made time go by slow, which was FANTASTIC. Cannot wait to go back!!!"

  • Secluded Vermont Cabin

"Even before we arrived at the cabin, the owner was most responsive in answering my questions which is why I chose this cabin for our vacation. As soon as I walked in, I felt right a home as the photos accurately reflected the rental's appearance and amenities. The property was clean but some trimming of the greenery facing the road could have been trimmed so that we had a better view of the lake. The description is that it is secluded, which to some extent it is, but it is also adjacent to Scenic Route 100, so there could be a lot of car and motorcycle noise during the day. However, the location was most convenient as it afforded us access to many other parts of Vermont to explore and to hike. The biggest town, Ludlow, with shopping and restaurants, was about 15 minutes away. Everything we needed for a week's stay in a vacation cottage was provided. The cabin had a dock but it had gotten damaged in the July 4th rains just before our stay, making it unusable. The owner was generous enough to give us a discount on our rental fee for the week, which was unexpected. Should we return to Vermont for a vacation, we would certainly consider staying here again."

  • Excellent

"Such a great condo - spacious, clean with a good amount of amenities, and the location is excellent. The owner truly wants you to have the best possible experience you can have. She is easy to communicate with and if any issues should arise (although I doubt any will), I believe she would do her best to try and resolve them for you. I go to Jay Peak once a year and I will definitely be renting this place again."

  • Million Dollar View

"We had three generations of our family from five different states gathering in Quechee to celebrate a wedding and this house could not have met our needs better. We rented both the main house and the guest house so we had plenty of room to spread out and get comfortable. It was so much better than renting hotel rooms. Not only did we save money on rooms and meals but it gave us a comfortable place and relax and catchup with one another between wedding activities. After our long journeys it was nice to arrive at a clean home that was all set for us. We found the kitchen well stocked with enough dishes and silverware to supply our large group. The home is just minutes from the Quechee Inn where the wedding was held so it was very convenient traveling to and from the venue. It is also very close to the Quechee Club with its great golfing and skiing opportunities. It was a little past prime leaf season but we still enjoyed a lovely walk along the roads of this quiet country neighborhood. With its million dollar view of the valley, fireplace and screened in porch this home is a great vacation spot any time of year. I don’t know who arranged for the hot air balloon to sail through the valley on Saturday morning but that was a great treat for all of us. We would definitely rent this home again."
