  • Absolute blast

"What a lovely, lovely stay. Six adults, two large dogs, three kitties and a whole lot of fun! Warren was the most gracious host! He left flowers, wine and cheese for us at the property and of course Ben & Jerry ice-cream! He was also very friendly and flexible during our booking process, answering all questions patiently, adjusting to our requirements and allowing the cats to come and stay! He was also very helpful and promptly came over when a fuse blew out the lights and the space heater, and later swung by with his aunt to party with us (although just for a little bit). He loves dogs so our pups welcomed him excitedly! This is a very pretty location right on the lake and we had an absolute blast. We cooked a LOT of food, saw a LOT of Amazon and Netflix tv, and played a LOT in the snow. The deck with the propane grill was a super-hit and well utilized by both humans and dogs. The dogs especially had boisterous fun, running around leash free in the snow and even swimming in the lake although it was in the twenties with wind chill. The house had ample space, a roaring fireplace and enough sleeping areas for the whole party. The only drawback was that the central heating wasn't up and running at the time of our stay, so we had to make do with the fireplace and another heater. Upstairs was nice but the ground floor was freezing the day before we left, with gale level lake winds and very cold temperature. But we had so much fun sitting around the fireplace and bundling up in layers of quilts, that I cannot but give this place a 5 star!"

  • Excellent

"We stayed here over Christmas. Had no issues at all. Great roomy place with everything you need. Close to everything yet far enough away from MT road to be quiet. It has Pool, sauna, game room, Jacuzzi, wifi (at office), gas fireplace, satellite, and full kitchen which was great for us because we like hiking in and around Stowe but often find the Restaurants in Stowe to be either closed, expensive, crowded or of low quality. I rented this condo specifically because it had a kitchen and we could make our own meals on our own schedule. It worked out great for us. Given the cost of dining in Stowe for what you get, even if you eat a few meals at the condo your savings are much more over the course of a week as compared to other rentals without a kitchen, so the rental is actually cheaper and better than other rentals in the area. We've rented in Stowe for years and this was the most comfortable I have been. It was also clean and well stocked. Has a great little mud room to keep your skis, showshoes etc., which was also nice. There is also a bus that runs frequently through so you don't even need a car to get to the slopes. I highly recommend. (and I almost never give 5 stars)"

  • Secluded Perfection

"Not only is this house situated on beautiful hilly landscapes, it has two fields on opposite sides of the house, lending plenty of space for a round-table fire pit. Look for the lunar moths set against a starry backdrop. It's as if you could reach out and touch the stars, they appear so close. The interior is meticulously beautiful. The house spares no amenity, complete with large jacuzzi tubs in most rooms, stand-up showers, sauna and lap pool. The cozy warm decor is inviting with its log cabin design. The area offers many recreational activities. We were there for three nights and were able to get in cliff diving, rugged mountain biking and reservoir kayaking. We had an amazing time."

  • Relaxing Get Away

"We vacationed here for the first time with our almost 3 year old son and dear friends. It was great to unwind and disconnect (our choice) from electronics and reconnect with our friends and family. We enjoyed coffee every morning by the water while our son played for hours on the sandy beach. The accommodations were beautiful - very clean, well stocked house! The owners were very attentive to our needs but also respectful of our privacy. A most memorable vacation! Just what we needed as a family! Would love to visit here again."
