  • Room for all

"We stayed in this generously spacious house and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The owners are extremely helpful and prompt in all matters. The kitchen is enormous and very well laid out for large gatherings. The only issue we encountered was deciding which bedroom to sleep in! Dorset and neighboring Manchester are lovely towns to be explored while staying in the comforts of this charming Vermont home."

  • Turn-Key Cottage

"Norma has provided a pleasant, turn-key cottage. Norma is a great source of information for whatever your needs may be as you spend time in Vermont. The cottage is EXTREMELY well equipped, the beds are wonderful and the water is nice and hot! It is much nicer than staying in a motel; cozy and comfortable, but with ample space suitcases, skis, etc. It would be perfect for a family, or a couple."

  • Family gathering in rural Vermont

"This house is amazing! Located in a picturesque village in the northeastern Vermont it is definitely remote but perfect for a family gathering. As with other comments, the kitchen is small but we took care of that by each taking turns cooking. We loved our evenings around the dinner table playing cards. There was plenty of room for ten with the big bedrooms and private bathrooms. It was very clean and well stocked, lots of towels! We had planned to snowshoe and snow board but it was rainy although we were surrounded by snow. So we ate our way though the area..beer tasting at 2 breweries (including the brewery at the Von Trapp Lodge in Stowe), cheese tasting at Cabot and ice cream at the Ben and Jerry's ice cream factory. John, the owner, was very helpful and easy to work with. We definitely hope to be back!"

  • Perfect location, perfect host

"My spouse and I have been travelling to Vermont for 30 years. Just discovered Mary's little piece of paradise this year, spent 10 nights in July with our teen aged daughter. Will definitely be returning in both summer and winter. Close to everything, yet perfectly secluded. Mary is the perfect host, very gracious and welcoming, along with her dog Sunny and cat Taffy. Fresh salad greens from the garden were appreciated. Great private swimming pond, fire pit and perfectly equipped cottage. Our daughter loved her little loft which soon became her nest. Chickens and rooster across the road very entertaining and the 3 dozen fresh eggs were the best we have ever eaten. Thanks Mary"
