  • My Favorite Place to Stay in Abington!

"Our recent stay at this beautiful cottage was absolutely wonderful!! My best friend and her husband shared it with us and it is perfectly designed to accommodate 2 couples. Owner Charlene was quick to respond to my phone calls/emails during the easy rental process and had fresh flowers and zucchini bread waiting for us in the kitchen when we arrived. We especially loved the plush bedding, spa-like bathrooms and gas log fireplace (especially when it snowed on Saturday morning!). The view from the front porch and upstairs was simply gorgeous and the location could not have been more convenient. We were able to walk to the Barter Theater, restaurants, shopping and Wolf Hills Brewery. I can't say enough good things about this cottage and have already recommended it to several friends/family members. We will definitely be back; hopefully for a longer stay!!"

  • Great place to stay and extra great when it's raining!

"Wonderful, clean and lots to do even if it rains! Located between Damascus and Abingdon so it's easy to bike ride into both towns and the Winery is within walking distance of the cottage! Great place....will definitely be back!"

  • Great Location on the Virginia Creeper Trail

"I just spent the weekend at this darling cabin on the Virginia Creeper Trail. It had perfect access to the trail so we could ride our bikes or run the trail directly from the driveway. The owners were easy to work with and the cabin was spotless when we arrived. It also had all the things you might need in the kitchen. I loved sitting on the porch and listening to the river. I would love to come back and bring my family to this place. The Virginia Creeper Trail has stolen my heart for sure. :) The only negative to this area is the sporatic cell reception/ wifi."

  • Charming and comfortable

"What a treat to find such a quaint cottage to call our home base for a recent get-away extended weekend. We started each day with our coffee and pastries before exploring the local attractions. We would end each day relaxing in the cozy Living Room. Even though it was early February, and chilly, we were comfortable sitting in the sunshine on the front porch mid day as we planned our evening outings. The location feels private and secluded, but is so convenient to town. There is so much to do and see in this area, and excellent dining options. The owners provided special touches to make our stay pleasant, and were nearby if we needed anything, but respected our privacy so that we truly felt at home and relaxed."
