"We recently spent spring break in Abingdon. This property was AMAZING and perfect in every way! Fabulous location for bike rentals, the trail and restaurants! We spent two days biking the trail and my kids loved running around the yard in the afternoon while the adults sipped wine on the screened in porch. We walked next door for bike rentals and walked to dinner at wonderful restaurants each night! The house is spacious, clean, new and super comfortable. The owner could not be more accommodating and gracious! She was extremely helpful with maps, restaurant recommendations and other questions we had. We will definitely be back to Abingdon and will DEFINITELY be staying here!"

"Our recent stay at this beautiful cottage was absolutely wonderful!! My best friend and her husband shared it with us and it is perfectly designed to accommodate 2 couples. Owner Charlene was quick to respond to my phone calls/emails during the easy rental process and had fresh flowers and zucchini bread waiting for us in the kitchen when we arrived. We especially loved the plush bedding, spa-like bathrooms and gas log fireplace (especially when it snowed on Saturday morning!). The view from the front porch and upstairs was simply gorgeous and the location could not have been more convenient. We were able to walk to the Barter Theater, restaurants, shopping and Wolf Hills Brewery. I can't say enough good things about this cottage and have already recommended it to several friends/family members. We will definitely be back; hopefully for a longer stay!!"

Great location for the Creeper Trail- and well-stocked for families
"This is a lovely retreat with easy access to the Creeper Trail, the Crooked Road, Damascus, and Abingdon. Well-appointed and clean! The bonus area in the garage with games, ping pong, and air hockey even has a large barbecue grill to use. The goats will welcome you and the hosts provide treats for them if you want to engage with them directly. Plenty of dishes, cookware, and a tidy kitchen to cook or heat things up. The downside is that there is virtually no cell phone signal and the house does not have wifi. You will truly be disconnected for your stay."

"My family enjoyed the Abingdon cottage after a long bike ride down the Virginia Creeper Trail. It is conveniently located to nice restaurants and other town attractions. You really feel the small town atmosphere with a vintage but comfortable surroundings. The cottage had all the amenities but without the need to check-in to a nice hotel."
