"Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay in this cabin. It was so quiet and peaceful. The cabin was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. We felt very at home here and plan to return in the fall. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay very enjoyable."

"My wife dreams of retiring in a log home on a stream and nestled in the woods. While we're not there yet, I was able to give that to her at the Fancy Gap HideAway for a few short days. She was delighted. The cabins are immaculate and extremely well-equipped, with an attention to detail rarely seen. For those considering a nice getaway, these cabins come highly recommended. The area is so very peaceful. The Golden Eagle is a little more "woodsy" and has a nice view of the stream from the porch. It is also a little closer to the rushing water sounds generated by a small cascade. The Black Bear is a little less closed in by the trees. Both share a nice common deck area down by the stream with individual picnic tables to enjoy the stream up close. We will definitely return!"

"We had an amazing weekend! This cabin was the perfect location for us to go into seclusion. As soon as we arrived we ran down to the river and sat on a rock to take a deep breath of fresh air. Very close to biking and hiking!! We would definitely return. Thank you!"

"We brought our church youth up to Bluefield WV for a mission trip and we stayed in the cabin one night to just have some quiet time to prepare and reflect on the mission ahead. The cabin was clean and plenty big for the boys and girls to be seperated ( we put the boys in the basement area ). The land was peaceful and beautiful scenery no matter the direction you looked. We had a delight the next morning when a bear came galloping through the field from the right and down to the front then off into the woods line."
