  • Could Not Ask For More!

"My daughter and I stayed at this townhouse for 10 days while she was participating in a VA Tech program and we could not have asked for more! The property is in terrific shape, very clean and well stocked. Both bedrooms were quite comfortable and it was nice to have two separate bathrooms. It is not located in the immediate vicinity of central campus but was an easy drive every morning and the neighborhood is mostly other townhouses where the neighbors were all very friendly. We would not hesitate to book this property again if we travel back to Blacksburg!!"

  • Excellent Vacation Home

"We rented this property for 3 nights. Wish it was longer. We were moving our son into his rental house for his junior year at Radford U. Was a bit far, but so worth it! The house is beautiful! We enjoyed the river, but most of all, we enjoyed sitting on the covered deck. After a long day of moving and shopping and dinner, We all joined outside and talked and laughed for hours. The owners have put a lot of thought into this homey home. We enjoyed being together so much and want to thank the Hills, for allowing us this opportunity."

  • hard-to-find mountain gem

"Especially if you seek lodging near the Virginia Creeper Trail, you'll enjoy a stay at this comfortable house. From its windows and porches you'll see some fine vistas. We found the house clean and well-equipped (but sans internet access - maybe a good thing for truly getting away). While here, plan to prepare your own food or to drive long distances to find restaurants. Keep in mind that the house is on a gravel road not marked with the street name (ostensibly, "Pond Mountain Lane"), so it is hard to find, especially at night. Google-provided directions proved inadequate and some GPS services don't work in the immediate area. For us and our guests, the effort to locate the house proved worthwhile."

  • Tranquility is a good description for this home

"We rented this home with 2 couples who were there for the purpose of riding motorcycles on the wonderful Virginia/North Carolina roads. We stayed for 5 nights and did 4 day rides out from here. We had 7 couples in total and 5 couples stayed in their sister home, Coldridge Manor, 2.4 miles away. The home met our needs very well and the owner was very kind to us and even drove us in to town to pick up pizza. He also built us a bonfire. Two helpful hints: There are 2 bathrooms, 1 of them is accessible only by going outside and down some stairs and using a sliding door to enter basement level, and if you are traveling by motorcycle you should know that there is about ¼ mile of gravel road to travel right before you get to the house, then down a small gravel driveway to park, we traveled it several times without incident. Great home! We had a lot of fun."
