"We absolutely loved our stay at the Fancy Gap Hideaway. We stayed in the Black Bear cabin which was SO clean. I couldn't get over how every inch of the cabin was cared for. All the essentials for a relaxing weekend were included such as DVDs, towels, linens, kitchen essentials, flashlights, games, bath salts, flameless candles, robes, etc. We stayed from Feb. 14-Feb. 16. Our trip at the Fancy Gap Hideaway will always be a special memory as we were engaged on Valentine's Day in this wonderful, cozy cabin!!!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us."

"Our family has stayed here on 2 different occasions, and both times found this cabin to meet all our needs. It's roomy and comfortable, quiet and private but not too remote or secluded. We bring bikes to cycle on the Parkway, and love the quaint charm of Fancy Gap and nearby Galax. We'll be back!"

"My husband and I chose this lovely little cabin as the place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were so pleased with the choice! The cabin is nicely furnished but still has that rustic country feel. The view from the large windows was just what we city folks had longed for. The weather our first two nights was overcast, but the third night offered a clear and lovely view of the stars unhampered by city lights. We totally relaxed...relishing the complete silence. We enjoyed dinner at nearby Chateau Morrisette and, from a totally different perspective, breakfast at The Hungry Farmer. The Blue Ridge Parkway was our route of choice whenever we ventured out to explore the area, but we always looked forward to returning to our cozy and welcoming cabin by dusk. My husband grilled out delicious steaks for our anniversary dinner, and we enjoyed dining at the table beside the windows that offer such a lovely and calming view, while a fire flickering in the gas fireplace contributed to the mood. This was definitely the right place for us."
