"Just spent 5 days at Pilot's Perch Labor Day week. Can't say enough good things about the owner Roxanne! She is awesome. If you have any questions that haven't been already addressed on her FAQ info that she sends to you...all you have to do is email and you will get a response usually within a few hours. Roxanne also provides you with a detailed list of everything you need to know/do upon arrival & prior to leaving. We rode our motorcycles to Pilot's Perch & all the roads are paved, in good condition and the garage was a perfect fit for 2 Harley's with room to spare. The house is also just perfect. The views, fire pit, hot tub, gas grill & the accommodations are 5 star. We traveled all around Virginia, North Carolina & Tennessee on our motorcycles and there are many great roads with plenty of twists & turns. The grocery store is within a short drive from the house. As well as gas stations, restaurants & other points of interest. If you decided to come stay at Pilot's Perch...you will not be disappointed!!!!"

"My husband, myself and our dog Grace stayed in this absolutely perfect cabin for 4 nights for a birthday celebration. It was in a wonderful location very near the Blue Ridge Parkway and had a fabulous view! We just sat on the porch for hours each day and looked at the mountains. We were in need of a quiet get away to the mountains and this was just perfect. The cabin was beautiful and very well equipped with everything that you would need. We cooked on the grill and fixed breakfast each morning in the nice kitchen. The porch had a gate on it which was perfect for us with our dog. She just sat on the porch and we did not have to worry about her. We were very close to Mt Airy and rode down there one day to explore and shop. Lots of great shops and antique stores. Loved having easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Check out the Fancy Gap Deli while you are there. We picked up a picnic lunch from there one day and it was delicious! We will definitely be back to this wonderful cabin. Thank you Karen for sharing your home with us!"

"We had a great, relaxing week at the cabin. It has been a few years since we have been able to rent a place in the mountains but we made the right choice. Relaxing, plenty of scenery and wildlife viewing and even though you see several other homes nearby it was very private. Thank you for sharing this and we hope to return again. We cannot ask for any more than what we got for a relaxing vacation and a break from our work."

"My husband and I stayed here the weekend of Labor Day. Perfect for us and we could have brought our kids or another couple and been more than comfortable! We really enjoyed being able to just go into the rental with very little rental process! It made us feel more at home. Very private feeling. Beautifully maintained and loved every minute we spent on the property. We will be back!"
