"I rented Abby and Mike's home for a climbing trip to Grayson Highlands State Park, and it was awesome! We had 8 people there, so quite the crew, and we found the house and Uncle Bob's Apartment to be set up perfectly. They had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook big breakfasts and dinners for everyone. It was only about a 15 minute drive to the park. Everyone was able to have a hot shower after climbing all day, which was impressive. The open living room and kitchen, and the screened in porch for were perfect for everyone to hang out and relax. We had smores at the fire pit, enjoyed the weather on the porch, played Jenga, and got to watch some college football since they had satellite TV.
I look forward to renting this home again next time I'm in the area."

"My husband and I spent three wonderful nights at the Park Street Guest House with another couple. We had never been to Abingdon before, and the location could not have been better - within walking distance of the Barter Theater and fabulous restaurants and shopping. Having two bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a living area, kitchen and dining rooms, and porches make it a real bargain over two hotel rooms!!!!! Try it - you'll love it!"

"My family of 4 had a wonderful time at this cottage! We were so close to all that we needed to bike or walk to - including restaurants, the Virginia Highlands Festival, and the Virginia Creeper Trail, and a bike shop just a block away that gave us a ride to the top of the trail. We spent our first night mostly inside the cottage because we found it so homey and welcoming. We spent a second night inside tending to our sore muscles after riding the full VCT. It was so great to ride the trail and have "home" be right at the end waiting for us. We enjoyed every minute of our stay!"

"Great house; very centrally located with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The backyard is beautiful, quiet and private. We had a nice little cookout following graduation. We all enjoyed our visit and will keep this house on our list for future visits to the area. Thanks for the hospitality and the cookies; such a thoughtful touch."
