  • Perfectly Lovely Cottage

"We stayed at this beautiful cottage during Thanksgiving week and found it to be just wonderful. It has been beautifully re-furbished and furnished with high end fixtures and appliances and the heated bathroom floors are amazing. It is tucked away in a little corner of town that afforded a nice view and easy access to all things Abingdon ( Creeper Trail, Barter Theater, restaurants, etc ). The owners were attentive and accommodating and we will definitely stay there again. We recommend it without hesitation. Dan"

  • Thanks for a great Thanksgiving!

"We stayed here a couple years ago and had a terrific time -- and this Thanksgiving seemed like the perfect time to return. The weather wasn't ideal -- the Blue Ridge Parkway was closed -- but the cabin sure was. The size works great for my wife, daughter and I. It's super clean and cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed to pull off a Thanksgiving meal. Even with the parkway closed, and the alternate route a little scary, we got there with no trouble. We highly recommend this for couples or small families. We're already planning to come back when we can take advantage of the pond!"

  • Wow!

"My family comes from Indiana, South Carolina and Georgia to meet up with Virginia family for Thanksgiving. This was the perfect place. It was like living in a postcard for 4 days. We found it clean and ready for us. Lots of room. The living/family room was large enough for all of us to sit, laugh and play multiple games. Very well stocked with everything you could want in kitchen. A trip to Mabry Mill was a must to see it covered in snow. Chateau Morrisette was extra special since it was their Christmas tree lighting day and we not only experienced the wine tasting for free but also enjoyed the school choir performing Christmas songs and peformance of a scene from the Nutcracker by a local dance group. The owner was very friendly and lightning fast prompt in responding to email questions and calls."

  • Great Getaway

"We really enjoyed our stay in the cabin. Pam did a wonderful job of making it warm and welcoming. It was very quiet and peaceful. We loved the fenced in yard, well sort of fenced in, but it was enough to keep our 3 dogs contained. We loved spending time on the front deck."
