"A beautiful home on a quiet rural road by an awesome cold water mountain creek. We stayed here overnight while traveling further south. Allen, the owner, was very accommodating and went out of his way to make this feel like home. The house was immaculate and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with lots of staples and all the fixings needed for good coffee. We will definitely stay here again in the future."

"My family enjoyed the Abingdon cottage after a long bike ride down the Virginia Creeper Trail. It is conveniently located to nice restaurants and other town attractions. You really feel the small town atmosphere with a vintage but comfortable surroundings. The cottage had all the amenities but without the need to check-in to a nice hotel."

"Friends and I stayed here with the purpose of riding the VCT we also found many other things to do. This would make our third ride of the trail both ways ;) Including visiting the beautiful Damascus area and eating the good food. Great location to ride the VCT! Whitetop trailhead is about a half mile away. The Stamper house has everything you need to enjoy the area anywhere from Whitetop to Abingdon. Owners Frank & Jenna were very easy to make arrangements with. Will definitely stay here again! It was an unforgettable way to spend my birthday!"

"We just returned from a 3 day stay at Riverwalk Cabin. This place is beautiful and the location is perfect. We were there to bike the Virginia Creeper. Quite a bonus to visit Abingdon's quaint and historic town and great restaurants.
What a wonderful place to relax, sip coffee on the porch, sleep to the sound of rushing water from the bordering river, and breathe!"
