"The home was very clean and comfortable with beautiful surroundings. Deer and wild turkeys wandered through the yard daily. We even saw a baby fawn on the way to the nearby herb garden! This is an excellent location for a get-away-from-it-all vacation...out in the country but within 30 minutes of town. Hiking trails and state parks are in the surrounding area."

"We brought our church youth up to Bluefield WV for a mission trip and we stayed in the cabin one night to just have some quiet time to prepare and reflect on the mission ahead. The cabin was clean and plenty big for the boys and girls to be seperated ( we put the boys in the basement area ). The land was peaceful and beautiful scenery no matter the direction you looked. We had a delight the next morning when a bear came galloping through the field from the right and down to the front then off into the woods line."

"My family comes from Indiana, South Carolina and Georgia to meet up with Virginia family for Thanksgiving. This was the perfect place. It was like living in a postcard for 4 days. We found it clean and ready for us. Lots of room. The living/family room was large enough for all of us to sit, laugh and play multiple games. Very well stocked with everything you could want in kitchen. A trip to Mabry Mill was a must to see it covered in snow. Chateau Morrisette was extra special since it was their Christmas tree lighting day and we not only experienced the wine tasting for free but also enjoyed the school choir performing Christmas songs and peformance of a scene from the Nutcracker by a local dance group. The owner was very friendly and lightning fast prompt in responding to email questions and calls."
