  • Amazing!

"Every single time I have stayed at this cottage, I have had the most relaxing weekend of my life. This place is perfect. Theresa and Brian bring so much energy and love to this property. I recommend this for groups, families, and couples. PERFECTION!"

  • Peaceful Retreat

"My husband and I had a last minute idea to meet our son and his wife over the weekend before continuing on to our vacation destination. Donna was very easy to work with, despite our last minute decision, and very prompt with answering emails and questions. Pura Vida is a very peaceful location; if you like quiet, this one's for you! Very clean and well kept. The last 3 miles is down a gravel road, so that may be an issue for some. We highly recommend Pura Vida and would definitely stay again!"

  • Family Meeting Place

"This is the second time we have rented this cabin. The first time was last November when my husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary with our daughters and their spouses. When we all arrived, we instantly felt at home! Sue left us some wonderful bakery, wine cheese and crackers and all the fixings for breakfast. She truly thought of everything! The house was spotless and tastefully decorated. I met my daughter there 3/2015 for some "girl" time. We felt completely safe, relaxed and it was just like coming home! The property is great for exploring or just sitting on the porch and enjoying the creek sounds. You won't be disappointed!"

  • Even Better the 2nd Time

"This was my 2nd visit to Cabin in the Blue Ridge, and I don't think it will be the last. This time around, myself and 9 family members traveled by motorcycle from northern KY and southeast IN and used the cabin as our base for the outstanding motorcycle roads the area has to offer. The cabin is just fantastic. It's more than large enough to easily accommodate us all. Never once did we feel cramped. Large kitchen, plenty of seating, ample bathrooms, a couple of washers and dryers...what more could a person need. We especially enjoyed our evening after long days of adventurous riding. It's hard to describe how nice it was to sit out on the porch and listen to NOTHING except the birds and the breezes. If you're looking for a place near a lot of tourist activities, this may not be the place for you. But if you want a beautiful, idyllic setting, and a fantastic cabin, treat yourself to a stay here."
