"We stayed here recently and were extremely pleased with the accommodations and mountaintop location. Area is quiet, peaceful and scenic and offers a cool reprieve from the Summer humidity. We enjoyed several activities while there including ziplining and summer tubing! This was our second visit to this home and we will certainly go again."

"What a perfect spot for a relaxing girls getaway. We enjoyed the quiet, pastoral views from all sides of the house which has been lovingly and beautifully restored. We enjoyed exploring in the nearby towns and on the 4th visited Monticello for the naturalization ceremony. This property offered a perfect combination of rest, relaxation, and exploring."

"Tom is just about the nicest person you will ever meet. We had a situation where we had to arrive in the middle of the night and there were two families sharing the cabin, and he was extremely accomodating. The home is very large and peaceful and we had the pleasure of seeing numerous deer. One of the fawns apparently had been adoped by another deer who had a fawn of her own. It was a wonderful experience. Tom provides lots of added little amenities. He gave us a welcome bag filled with treats, maps, and information about the area. It was very peaceful."

"We were looking for a property close to Shenandoah NP, specifically near Old Rag Mountain (our favorite hike in the NP). Tucker'd Out is minutes from the trailhead and you'd be pressed to find a more complete, tastefully designed and provisioned accommodation anywhere. Surrounded by working farms and wineries, the Blue Ridge Mountains form a backdrop of stunning views. The small country market in the hamlet of Sperryville (gateway to the NP) a few miles north (on Rt. 522, enroute coming from DC) provides well-selected food and beverage essentials. I seriously can't imagine better; wonderful of the Carter's to share this property.
I hate writing these kinds of reviews, however deserved, since I'm simultaneously making it difficult to book in the future."
