Perfect Family Getaway
"We were just blown away by this beautiful home. The view too was just incredible. It was a real joy for us to stay there. We had family come over and sit out on the covered porch. Was so wonderful. We had plenty of room for everyone to have a meal together. The house was immaculate and the owner could not have been more accommodating. It was chilly and a bit wet the weekend we stayed, so I would love to come back and visit in the summer or fall."

Comfortable apartment for exploring Charlottesville
"My daughter and I spent the weekend in Charlottesville and stayed at Serpentine Studio. The apartment
is beautifully renovated and very comfortable. Everything you need is there including coffee, tea, milk and cereal.
I enjoyed being close to the river. I enjoyed exploring Charlottesville while my daughter went to an interview.
We recommend Pippin Hill Vineyard and Carter Mountain Orchard visits which were recommended by locals. Driving out Hwy 250 toward the Blue Ridge Parkway was picturesque as well. Thank you for sharing your property with us."

"Stayed here recently with two families, for 11 people total. We absolutely loved it! There was more than enough room for sleeping and we could have comfortably slept additional people. Although pictures of the folding glass doors are posted on here, I had forgotten about them and was so pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the cabin -- it was PERFECT to have them completely open (in the front, and off of the back porch as well) during the afternoons! The table was large enough for us all to enjoy dinner together, and we sat comfortably in the living area; most of the time, a few people were sitting on the porch or elsewhere around the home, as well. We used the outdoor fire pit both nights, and we also used the volleyball net. There was not a volleyball in the home (that we found) but we did find badminton equipment. There is also ample space to throw a football or play catch. We drove to Monticello Saturday and followed the tour there with a walk through downtown and an early dinner at Sultan Kebab (yum!). Most of us had enough cell phone service in the home to text or call someone if we needed to. The driveway is definitely very steep towards the top, but we parked four vehicles there, and one slightly further from the cabin (where the driveway widens), with no problems. I would highly recommend this cabin for a weekend stay, or even longer than that. We remarked multiple times how we wished we could spend a few weeks there!"

"This rental is by far one of the best places I have stayed in the area. I have stayed here a total of three times, once in May, once in October, and most recently over New Years. Each time of year there is a special beauty to the location. Huge windows facing northwest towards the mountains, large fireplace, wonderful kitchen, and a serene peaceful setting. The location of this house is wonderful - near vineyards and hiking trails, yet just a short drive to Charlottesville. The house is very well maintained and extra cozy - and the owners are very helpful!"
