great little rental
"This little house is a perfect rental in C'ville. We have dogs and kids so the fenced yard and near-by parks were great. The house is small but charming and comfortable. If you are looking to avoid over-priced and cramped hotels in the area, I would highly recommend this rental."

"We recently stayed at Afton Cottage while visiting the area. The location was great--centrally located to many of the sights and activities of Central Virginia. The cottage was stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The best part was being able to bring our three dogs along on the trip. They enjoyed hiking on Skyline Drive each day. I would definitely consider a return trip to Afton Cottage!"

"We stayed at this bungalow while visiting Charlottesville to tour Monticello. It was conviently located near the pedestrian mall and many restaurants. We had a very nice stay and the bungalow was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this bungalow to friends and family."

"Perfect place to getaway. We were very happy an pleased with the cabin. It is in a great location for things to do or you can sit back and do nothing but take in the nice surroundings of the cabin. If you want to get out and do a few things, many wineries are within a stone's throw. We would recommend the hiking trails at the base of the Monticello hill. They were excellent for hiking in the evenings on hot days. The tree cover kept things cool and the old wood forest was beautiful. The boardwalk trail to Monticello was also very nice. The restaurants in Scottsville were good and not that far away."
