"We rented the cabin to host family visitors for graduation at UVA, and we all loved it! We loved the hikes and and the fire pit. The cabin was warm and cozy. The wrap around deck was great for morning coffee or evening sundowners. We enjoyed the family history on display, and quickly felt we were in someone's home, not a rental property. Our dogs enjoyed the hilltop roams and curling up by the fireplace. We'll want to book next year for the next graduation!"

"This home was perfect for a group outing to see the beautiful countryside in Charlottesville. Plenty of space in the house, gorgeous back deck with views of nothing but the woods, tucked away away from other signs civilization. We enjoyed also the basketball court and the grill! This location was also a convenient 15 minute drive to downtown, so we were able to take advantage of the bars and restaurants in the city. Fantastic experience!"

"It seems that everyone before us agrees, this IS a beautiful property, a wonderful location, great amenities, and a perfect home to gather a family/friends for any occasion. The home is comfortable, the fish were biting in the lake, the pool was perfect for the hot summer days, the darkness at night allowed us to see so many stars AND the international space station fly by! We enjoyed just watching our dogs enjoy the property, listening to the birds sing and having coffee or drinks on the front porch thinking about all of the history the house has seen. We drove in to both Richmond and Charlottesville to do some sight seeing and we cooked great meals in the fabulous kitchen. 6 adults and two dogs shared the place and there was plenty of room for all of us. We think you'll love it too."

"Stayed here with extended family for the UVA Graduation week-end. This house was perfect for our group. It was close enough to Charlottesville but just far enough away to give us a private get-together. Very quaint and all the modern conveniences needed in a home. Some from our group toured Monticello, some visited wineries and even a float on the James river in addition to the graduation. The fire pit outside was wonderful. We didn't make any fires in the house wood-stoves or kitchen stove but they looked very interesting. There was plenty to do. Directions were easy and the instructions for the house were well explained. I would recommend highly."
