Superb vacation place with lots of room!
"We recently rented this property as a place to stay for my daughter's wedding party. It was absolutely fabulous in every way! The property is gorgeous--private and beautifully maintained, with a very enticing pool! It is well-equipped, from kitchen equipment to games. It is beautifully furnished. The grounds are spacious. The house easily and comfortably accommodated our party of 14 people. The owner is responsive and pleasant. I recommend it highly!"

"My girlfriends and I spent a delightful weekend at the Manor home and enjoyed every second. The house is comfortable, beautiful and has everything you need. In fact, we hardly left the house due to snow! There are two fireplaces, three very well appointed bedrooms, impeccable bath rooms, a chefs kitchen, and a beautiful screened-in porch, where we enjoyed the snow by the fire. The heated floors were another special treat. Barbara was extremely helpful and available all weekend.
Our only regret was not getting to visit the many wineries and breweries nearby! We will certainly return."

"My family and friends have traveled to a different destination every year for the past 12 years because we don't want to have a "repeat vacation." After staying a La Valle, everyone said they would definitely repeat vacation here. The house is beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen is probably the best stocked kitchen of any place we have every stayed which is extremely important for us as we cook in most days and nights. It even had sharp knives (which never happens -- I have actually resorted to bringing my own). We traveled to Richmond one day to take the kids to the science museum and my husband and son took our boat to the James River for some flathead fishing another day. Other than that, we stayed put. The fact that we could bring our lab on vacation with us made this place even better. There was plenty to do not too far away, but we stayed home for the most part. The boys spent the days fishing in the pond while the ladies and kids stayed poolside. At night, we swam under the stars, or relaxed on the comfy furniture watching TV and/or reading books, or played games at the large dining table. The owners are friendly and easy to deal with. This was the most relaxing vacation I have ever had and we loved every minute of it. There are lots of ticks and bugs though (you are in the country of course) so be sure to bring lots of bug spray!! I'm almost certain this will be our first repeat vacation destination."

"My husband and I spent 2 nights in Charlottesville and were lucky enough to stay at this perfect little bungalow. It met all of our needs: exceptionally clean, located in a nice neighborhood within walking distance of downtown, comfortable, decorated beautifully and stocked with everything a guest could need. Janice really did think of everything. I spend hours searching for the "perfect" place to stay when we travel, and I certainly found it in Charlottesville. Aside from how nice the house is, the location is ideal because there are several restaurants just a block away. The real find for us was the restaurant Lampo, which is actually on your way to downtown just before you get onto the bridge. We will recommend this house to anyone we know who is traveling to Charlottesville."
