Beautiful home close to wineries and downtown
"This is a lovely house that is well-appointed and perfect for families and large groups to relax and enjoy the Charlottesville area! It was very clean and decorated beautifully. The bedrooms are separated throughout the house for privacy, with plenty of bathrooms to accommodate large groups. We spent one night there and were able to go to several local wineries, as well as enjoy the grounds around the house. Our only regret was that we wished that we had decided to stay for two nights! We would definitely like to come back and stay longer."

Absolutely Perfect for a week's stay in Charlottesville!
"Our family just returned from a week's stay in the Charlottesville area & highly recommend this property.
It was perfect for a family of 4 (with 2 adult children); we walked daily to Old Town and the mall for shopping & eating. There are just too many EXCELLENT restaurants in walking distance to have tried them all! The Local (2 blocks away) was our favorite!
We used the house for our home base to visit wineries, historic sites & family in the area. It would be perfect for a family visiting UVA as well.
It's a cozy & comfortable cottage with sufficient space for a family to get ready each day (the extra half-bath is a life saver with 3 females in the family) & the kitchen is "right sized" for cooking meals in.
The queen bed is very comfortable, while the twin beds were "just okay" for my adult daughters -- probably fine for smaller kids."

"It was even larger than we had thought. Rustic and charming but still has all modern accommodations for maximum comfort. It was a beautiful weekend during our stay, so we spent most of our time outdoors in the large yard, enjoying the horseshoes and fire pit. Great spot. Cabin is well built."

"We (myself, my husband, 2 children and our puppy) stayed at the farm for 6 nights. From the minute we drove in we thought we died and went to Heaven! The Pond House was beautiful, the horses, the farm, the pond, the woods, the view, all so beautiful. As well, the owner, Keith, the hostess, Katie and the groundskeeper, Kenny were all so nice. We fished every day, my husband caught a few big bass and one huge one. Went horseback riding nearby, went sight-seeing among other things. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute and can't wait to return next summer. Thank you for a wonderful place to make memories that will last a lifetime."
