  • Perfect for a Girls Weekend

"My girlfriends and I just got back yesterday from staying in this absolutely charming cottage. It is immaculately clean, neat and tidy. We could not have asked for better accomodations. It was close to all the attractions we came to visit (Monticello, Montpelier, Ash-Lawn Highland and local wineries). One of the best parts was being able to walk to the downtown mall and have so many restaurants to choose from. We were very sad to leave this beautiful home. Don't pass up an opportunity to say at this fantastic rental. The owner is so easy to work with and she made everything comfortable and easy for our stay!"

  • I could live here...really...

"Can't wait to come back. Absolutely fantastic! We stay here when we visit our daughter at UVA; our other daughter drives from JMU to meet us. It's a haul to Charlottesville but certainly "doable." (About 30 minutes.) Next time I'm just staying at the cabin...if my daughter wants to visit she can come to us! :)"

"This house blew away our expectations. Specifically: *loveliness of the views *newness of the house *quality of the house *felt much larger than it appeared in pictures *quiet and rural setting, but 10 minutes from Starbucks! *strong Verizon and AT&T LTE data at the property *55" Sony LCD HDTV - AWESOME; plus a Polk soundbar! *great walking/running/biking trails everywhere *professional management via Stay Charlottesville Such a good experience with this property!"

  • Everything was perfect!

"We rented this house for the few days before and the weekend of our daughter's wedding at Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyard. The owner couldn't have been nicer or more flexible in our dealings with her, including allowing me to meet a caterer there a few weeks before on a trip to finalize some wedding details. We had all of the bridesmaids and a couple of the groomsmen staying at the house, and the accommodations are beautiful! The house is spacious and beautiful, and everything from the linens and towels to the equipment in the kitchen was top notch. The house is so beautifully maintained and set up so nicely for a large group. The house was completely ready for our arrival, including putting outdoor cushions on the back porch four our use since the weather forecast was warm and sunny. We hosted a beautiful post wedding brunch the day after the wedding for about 100 people and not only were the caterers able to set up a beautiful buffet and omelette bar, everyone still had plenty of room to eat, move around and visit without using additional rentals. Our wedding experience in Charlottesville (we live on the west coast) was absolutely perfect, and our stay at La Fourche was the highlight after the wedding itself. The girls (some of whom don't get to see one another that often) stayed up late talking and it allowed the family to all be much more intimate and comfortable than staying in a hotel. I can't say enough about the house or the entire experience, from dealing with the owners to our stay in this lovely house."
