"Had a wonderful time on the lake. We were greeted by Canadian geese, a heron, and an eagle. The view is fantastic! Very quiet location. The kitchen was great. I cooked many meals. I think anyone would enjoy their time here."

"Bill is so welcoming and accomodating. They take such pride in their home.
It has all the comforts of home. We wanted for nothing.
Breakfasts and dinners on the pier were wonderful. Caught quite a few catfish right off the pier. Saw some big bass, but couldn't catch them.
Sitting at the campfire at lakeside was the perfect ending to our days.
The lake is beautiful, huge and warm! Ninety four degrees on September 14th! So convienient to launch our boat (right beside the property!) and have it at our own dock at our disposal.
Our first time there, but hopefully not our last! Thanks for a totally relaxing, rejuvenating week!"

"We went as a group of 14 people with 3 families (8 children 4 and under). We fit comfortable in the house!
**Review of the lake - the lake is awesome. The intake temp was 84 and the discharge temp was 98 which made a nice 88-93 degree lake depending on where you were. Our cove was maybe on the cooler side (88), but our kids were in the water at 8am when it was 67 degrees outside. They LOVED it. We thought the lake was a great size and it wasn't busy at all. We rarely ran in to another boat during the week and on the weekends - maybe 3-5 boats. All watersports were great!
***Review of the house - this house was perfect for our families. Each of the parents had a room to themselves (upstairs master, upstairs queen and downstairs queen). We each had a child in with us (pack n plays and closets - the downstairs closet fit the pack in play perfectly). Master bath was great - huge shower and large jet tub. Four kids shared the bunk room and then one child was in the twin room. You cannot hear much downstairs except foot traffic from above. The kitchen is well stocked with spices, utensils and extra stuff like a crock pot, large roasting pan, parge pot, etc. There was nothing that we wished we had. The dining room we only used for lunch - kids ate at the picnic table and adults ate in the screened in porch which was awesome. Plenty of room. Living room was only used for naps during the day and a puzzle but was more spacious than the photos lead you to believe. The downstairs was great for a playroom - we mainly used it for movies in the afternoon and evening. There is a wet bar with a mini fridge down there. There is a bathroom, laundry room, and storage room that has a regular fridge (good for beer/drinks, extra food).
***Outside - the outdoor space was great - the sand beach and kayaks were a hit. We made a few fires for s'mores. What made this house so perfect for us was the "zero-entry" beach into the water. The beach slopes to a comfortable 4-5ft by the END of the dock. Like I said, the water is clear and so letting our beginning swimmers play around was perfect. The dock was spacious and it was so nice to have a covered boat slip. The extenion of the dock into the water (L-shape) made it a perfect "swimming zone" boundary for our kiddos. The boathouse had life jackets, paddles, tables, chairs and electricity for music down by the lake.
***We will abdsolutey be returning to Lake Anna and can't find a better house than this!"

Awesome place for multiple families - owners are wonderful!
"Our group was multi-generational. The house is enormous and easily accommodated our group (we had up to 13 there the first weekend). Here are the highlights:
- Huge kitchen that is easy to work in while others still use it. Breakfast bar seats 6!
- Main living area features a SUPER comfortable leather couch that became nap central.
- Gigantic second floor deck was a wonderful hangout place and is protected from rain.
- There are FIVE comfy king-size beds in this house - awesome - and the bedrooms are roomy.
- Lake access is good because of the gentle slope to the water. There are tons of Adirondack chairs and loungers and plenty of space to set them up.
- It was SO QUIET on our cove.
- We enjoyed the size of the yard for CanJam and other games and took advantage of the fire pit, spending hours there.
The owners are fabulous people and treated us like family. It was clear that Gordean and Frank truly wanted us to have a good time. They offered extras we didn't even expect.
We lucked out with the most gorgeous weather possible. The house is situated in front of multiple boat slips, so the water view was not ideal; however, this did not diminish from our experience of the lake. The sheer size and comfort of this home and property made us super happy we found it!"
