  • Lovely little cabin!

"My boyfriend and I stayed 2 nights in this adorable cabin. We had a great time. The cabin is conveniently located near Luray Caverns and one of the entrances to the Shenandoah. I agree with the other reviewers that it would be a little tight to fit 6 adults in this cabin, but it was perfectly spacious for the two of us. It was a really tranquil place to get away for a few days."

  • Perfect place to stay if you want to hike Old Rag

"We LOVED our stay at this cottage! We got there in time for a nice lunch and then my husband and I walked to the Sharp Rock winery and managed to fit in a wine tasting and a glass of wine before my son collected us for 5 pm Mass at St. Peter's in Washington, VA. It was great to sleep in the next day, have a hearty breakfast, and then hike Old Rag. We left my 79 yo mother at the cottage that day and she had a lovely time relaxing. We then came back, took showers, had a great dinner, and then relaxed some more. We will definitely be back! PS - we usually make the Old Rag hike a day trip from the DC area but that means getting up at dawn, driving 2 hours, hiking for almost 5 hours, and then another 2 hour drive home ... using the cottage as our base was a much, much better plan!"
