"Our friends and I rented the house for a couples getaway. We had a fabulous time! The view was incredible and everyone enjoyed their accommodations. The owners were very responsive to all our needs and even let us check-in early. The only thing to consider is that the kitchen isn't outfitted with all you may need like serving dishes and sharp knives. If you come prepared, you will be just fine and will have a great time. The full size ice maker is a plus and there's plenty of space to stretch out, relax and enjoy!"

"We had a very nice weekend, the house was nice & well maintained. However......the first night we were there we got ice...and we couldn't get to the Inn to eat nor would anyone deliver to us..... The shuttle service wouldn't pick us up....so pack a meal. Lol."

"The Condo was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the balcony to eat lunch and dinner and there was always something to watch for entertainment out on the docks. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and the beds were comfy. This has to be one of the nicest places to stay!!!"

"It is difficult to decide which was better ... the quaintness of the winding country roads along flowing streams, green rolling hills, and Shenandoah National Park so close ... or the peace & tranquility of this beautiful property itself, facilitated by dark starry nights and an oh-so-comfortable cottage providing excellent nights' sleep! The cottage & acreage afford a quiet, private atmosphere, with wonderful countryside views - We appreciated being in the country while still enjoying the conveniences of so many nearby towns, history, shopping, and recreation. We enjoyed as many of the near-by historical sites as time would afford: Monticello, Montpelier, Ash-Lawn Highland, a day trip to the DC area (Alexandria, VA / Mt. Vernon area), and even Appomattox Court House & Jefferson's Poplar Forest. All were fantastic! The Saturday morning farmers' market in downtown Culpeper was a treat, too. Many, many thanks to our hosts, the Tuckers, for the detailed and caring handling of all our needs!"
