"My husband and I traveled with our dog Kama from Maine to Virginia to visit family. We stayed at Traveler's Rest and it was absolutely wonderful. It was so nice and peaceful and they had everything we needed. It beats a stuffy hotel room any day. The owners were very friendly and made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back."

"We've lost track of the number of our stays~they've all
From the moment we arrive our home away from home is truly perfection! The house is beautifully decorated, spotless with every amenity you can think of. It's comfortable with that warm inviting feeling that the south is so famous for! The downstairs boasts a living room and dinning room with fabulous art work
that makes for a great place to relax and to enjoy a wonderful
meal that can be prepared in the state of the art kitchen. It
has every appliance you can think of and makes cooking in
very enjoyable. The master bedroom houses one of the
most wonderful King beds that makes for a wonderful nights
sleep and calls to you to enjoy lazy lounging mornings.
The TV room with the two comfortable reclinders with the flat screen HDTV is one of our favorite spots after being out
exploring all Richmond has to offer!
The Va Musuem, the Civil War sites, the Childrens Musuem, the shops in Carytown, the Fan area with it's biggest collection of Victorian homes and the quaint neighborhood restaurants with some of the best foods to be savored are just some of the reasons Richmond is one of the top fun filled destinations that
was also voted the Friendliest City!
No matter whether you are traveling alone, as a couple, a family, or group of friends this house is a GREAT find. The owners are
as delightful as their home. They have always been available
and happy to answer any questions but, never intrusive.
For us, there's no other place we would want to stay, this is our
place to be when we come home to wonderful Richmond..."

"We stayed at Susie's house for the Richmond Marathon and it was perfect! The house is in easy walking distance to downtown Richmond where the race started as well as plenty of great restaurants in the Fan District. The house was well equipped with pretty much anything you might need and more. Really cool historical neighborhood. We were a little worried about street parking, but didn't have any problems finding a spot close to the house. I highly recommend this house to anyone who needs to travel to Richmond. Susie was very pleasant and easy to work with and the house is awesome. We loved it and had a great time."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Richmond and the house on Borden Street was a big part of our vacation there. We enjoyed the pool and outdoor areas very much. Its accommodations exceeded our expectations and the owner was very pleasant, answering all questions and concerns promptly."
