"The house was beautiful and well stocked. We had lots of fun in the paddle boat and kyakes. Did lots of fishing and swimming off the dock. Brought our own boat and kept tied to the dock all week. That was very nice and easy. Load up on food and you never need to leave the house. The two down falls to the house are limited parking and the railing around the deck. I have a 14 month old and a 4 year old and could not relax on the deck because of fear that they would fall threw the railing. Peaceful, fun, relaxing!"

"This condo was huge. We had a large balcony, dining room, and a very big living room. Sleeps 7 comfortably when pullout bed is used. Well-stocked kitchen and gas grills on each side of the property allowed us to save money by grilling at night and eating in. The positive to this side of the lake is peace and quiet. The only negative is it's not close to anything if you need something. The closest convenience store is about 12 -15 minutes. It closes at 9 pm on the weekends, but has gas and live bait. If the condo had wifi, my teenage kids would've rated it perfect. I was fine with no Internet for a week, but I would recommend taking a printout of all marina, restaurants, rental places, etc with you. Understand that 90% of these places are on the other side of the lake (30 min drive minimum). The shape of the lake makes road and especially water navigation very challenging. Have a lake map with reference numbers and a good GPS app on your phone. The dock at this property where we fished, ate, swam, and just hung out was awesome, too.
We will definitely return to this location."

Great views from Juliette balcony.
Walking distance to Kings Pub Restaurant, bike able to Smith Mtn Lake Park.
We will be back again when it's just my husband and myself at the lake!"

"We have been coming to Smith Mountain lake fot many years. My husband doesn't get excited ever...but he was smiling ear to ear when he stepped in the door! The pictures do not really show how beautiful it is! Everything you need is here! The kids loved jumping off the top of the dock. I loved how close it is to the Bridgewater marina. ..5 min....perfect!! The walk to the water was very well laid out with lights all the way down it ,for evenings spent fishing. The firepit was so beautiful looking out over the lake! We had a huge storm while here and it knocked out our elecrtic in some places...the owner was wonderful to deal with...he had a maintenance guy here right away! Cant say enough good about it!!!"
