  • Family Getaway

"What we enjoyed most about staying here were the attention to details the owner provided for your stay. Upon arrival there is a welcome book that gives you all the information about the house and area you could ask for. This was very helpful so you know how to use the tv remotes to choosing a restaurant in the area, there are only 2 close by. Bikes, kayaks, beach chairs and even beach towels are provided we didn't have to bring anything with us except for clothes and food. We have stayed at many rentals there is nothing worse than arriving after a 10 hour drive to find no toilet paper in the bathrooms. Not the case with this home, there was plenty and even paper towels, trash bags even some condiments were left in the fridge which was great since we forgot to buy hot sauce, it was there so we didn't have to make the 15 min drive to the store. The home is in a remote area not close to things like we are used to but it didn't bother us. If you're used to the convenience of stores, restaurants, malls then this might not be the place for you. We found it to be the perfect place for family bonding and just plain old relaxing without cell phone interruption (service is very spotty here). I would highly recommend this home to anyone who just wants to relax and enjoy the view."

  • Serenity Bayhouse

"We liked the house. For this time of year, when the wind and the chill/rain came thru we couldn't enjoy the outdoors; it would have been better if there was a game-room with a pool/ping pong table. There wasn't cell phone ability which we weren't prepared for. So, the young adults were a bit at a lose\."

  • Heaven on earth!

"We loved our vacation from the moment we pulled in and saw the cute flip flop wreath hanging on the front door! This house has everything you could need to enjoy a relaxing vacation! Beautiful home inside and out! We spent most of our time at the beach up until Thursday when the jellyfish came in! 5 out of 6 kids got stung by jellyfish.  But that didn’t stop us from having a good time! Please if you plan to swim bring water shoes as we found several large pieces of glass out in the water. We enjoyed getting up early to watch the sunrise and watching the sunset in the evening! It’s almost magical it’s so pretty! The kids enjoyed the sand area and boat up in the yard. They played all day long and slept like rocks at night! We took a few trips to Chitter Chats Ice Cream during our stay!! YUM!! We met a neighbor from 2 doors down and he was such a nice guy. He showed us the secret to opening blue crab! He also gave us a great recipe for crab cakes. We can’t wait to go back!! Just might have found our new yearly get away!"

  • Beautiful Property with Great View

"We rented the home with four other couples, and we all thought it was just perfect. It is very spacious with several quiet places to get away and read, along with two large family room areas for us to be together. The view of the Chesapeake Bay is spectacular, and we sat for a little while each day in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the bay. All of the appliances were nice, and the kitchen is well stocked. My husband and I actually stayed in the carriage house apartment above the garage which ended up to be very nice too. It also has a refrigerator and sink in it along with dishes should you need them. The owners are VERY responsive and were always available if we had a question about anything. They were also easy to work with in booking the property, and always got back to me in a very timely way. Reedville is a nice quaint town, and there are also some other small towns nearby with gift shops and things to see. Our favorite part, however, was sitting by the water and enjoying the view with good friends."
