"Yes, this is our third vacation in Paradise. The place is so beautiful and gives you much peace and quiet. We fished every day and caught a few big ones. Then used the kayaks to explore on the water. This year our adult children came for Fathers Day. They just loved the quiet, beauty, fishing and kayak adventure. Our dog loves being able to splash in the water and sleep on the deck. We plan to go back again soon."

"We had wonderful stay for the Thanksgiving holiday! Laura, the owner, was very easy to communicate with and we felt welcome from start to finish. The house is beautiful, with lots of room for our group of 10. We enjoyed the games, the view, fishing from the dock, the large kitchen, a gorgeous dining room where we could all sit together, and walking to town was a giant plus. Onancock was a treasure we hadn't expected. We'd love to come back in the summer when we can take advantage of the large screen porch, grassy yard, and the boat! All around, the home made for an awesome stay!"

"What a great place to relax!...or to find plenty to do and see. The owners greeted us and explained the features of the house and property (for pets, too 😉)
We immediately felt at home in their beautiful (and immaculate) house. Fresh fruit and preferred beverages were provided, and the kitchen was stocked with coffee ☕️ and spices. The soft breezes off the water(& the nice linens) made for restful nights. Outdoor sports were plentiful, but we spent much of our time on the deck watching the birds and activity on the creek. Foosball became our favorite indoor sport! We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and family. AND... there's an elevator!"

"We just finished a 5 day stay at the property. It really does look better than the photos. The owners have done a good job updating it, with new floors, paint, etc. The private beach is one block down the street, the water is as shallow, clear and warm as other reviewers have described. We did drive to the ocean side, to Chincoteague Beach, which is about an hour away. That is probably worth the drive, with a really nice public beach on the ocean. If you go there, read the reviews on TripAdvisor first. The restaurant in Onancock, Mallard's on the Wharf, is a good place.
We took advantage of the kayaks, and really enjoyed that. When we went to the beach, we took floats and first tried to tie up to the adjoining dock but the current kept pulling us into the dock. We then went out and bought a cheap boat anchor and set that about a hundred yards from the shore and tied our floats to it. Perfect sun, perfect water, out of the reach of the bugs....it was perfect. We have left the anchor and the rope for future users in the sun room, next to the kayaks. We also left a cooler for future use as well. Please enjoy.
One final note: I am providing this a 5 because of the price, location and convenience. It is not as "nice" as other properties we have stayed in but its also at a very reasonable price that is a great value for the property -- especially the kayaks, bikes and other add-ons. The house isn't large but it easily accommodated 2 adults and 3 teenage girls."
