"Our first trip to Chincoteague and what a lovely place to stay! The house is in pristine condition, well looked after and appliances/amenities in excellent condition. The home is comfortable and spacious one floor living. The screened in porch was a lovely place to relax.
As other reviewers have mentioned, the house is not marsh/water facing but it is a tranquil setting and has a small pond behind it. One of the highlights of the trip was feeding the ducks in the morning! It is centrally located and short drive or bike to Main Street and a few miles to the beach. Owners were delightful to deal with and we'd love to go back another time."

"We stayed in the Cleveland St. home during Pony Penning, 2015. It is an excellent location to downtown amenities (shops, restaurants, carnival grounds, etc.). The front porch was extremely relaxing. The home was very clean and roomy. Off-street parking was a definite plus!"

"We had a lovely stay at this house and highly recommend it. It is a great layout for families and it was nice having a first floor bedroom/bathroom so my in-laws had their own space. My husband and I were upstairs in the master bedroom, and our two children were also upstairs and had their own bathroom too. Plenty of space for everyone and every bedroom has it's own balcony/deck! We used the upstairs loft area as a play area for the kids, so they had a place for their books, toys and activities. Great views- especially if you enjoy sunsets and birdwatching! It was great to eat on the screen-in porch, but having indoor option that sat 6 people was important since the mornings were still chilly. This house isn't walk distance to town, but you could bike in- we just drove. The peaceful/secluded setting was worth the trade-off. Owners were very responsive and helpful. No complaints and would definitely stay their again!"

"My wife and I spent a relaxing get away and thoroughly enjoyed our farm house!
We found nobend to great sight seeing adventures. Bought local oysters, clams, and wine. Visited many of the local parks and saw so much wildlife. I would return as it was so peaceful and you got a sense of what rural souther Virginia shore life is all about."
