"This house was perfect for two families to share for the week with our small children seeking a relaxing time on the island. The location is ideal, especially if you don't care about having a bay-front property; everything is easy to get to - Main St, Island Creamery, the beach. Waking up with the sounds of the pond-dwelling birds was lovely and the kids were eager each morning to feed the ducks and refill the bird-feeders. The screened-in deck was the perfect place for every meal. The chiminea served us well for one-night of marshmallow roasting and we couldn't resist using the crab cooker after we brought home a bounty from Captain Barry's eco-tour. The shed is stocked with everything we needed for the beach, including umbrellas, chairs, sand toys and boogie boards. Our party included two 7 year olds, a 4 year old and a 2 year old, plus two sets of parents, and the house was plenty spacious enough for all of us. Having a two year old in the house was no problem since there is a crib, high chairs a-plenty and toys/games. The laundry room was helpful to have and used by both families. The outdoor shower area was a huge convenience when arriving home from the beach each day. Claudine and Richard were so caring and easy to work with, as was their local helper who tracked down and returned clothing left behind by accident in the house. Trying to figure out when we can get back. We loved this vacation and would do it again in a heartbeat."

"Had another wonderful stay here in our tiny cottage. Just the right size for me and my spouse. Not cluttered, very well organized and had all the amenities (beach chairs, umbrella, grill, comfy bed, hot shower, wifi) I need to unwind with no schedule in mind. Quite residential area. 1.5 mile walk to town. Porch is a great place to entertain if you have friends over for drinks and snacks."

"We had a lovely stay at this house and highly recommend it. It is a great layout for families and it was nice having a first floor bedroom/bathroom so my in-laws had their own space. My husband and I were upstairs in the master bedroom, and our two children were also upstairs and had their own bathroom too. Plenty of space for everyone and every bedroom has it's own balcony/deck! We used the upstairs loft area as a play area for the kids, so they had a place for their books, toys and activities. Great views- especially if you enjoy sunsets and birdwatching! It was great to eat on the screen-in porch, but having indoor option that sat 6 people was important since the mornings were still chilly. This house isn't walk distance to town, but you could bike in- we just drove. The peaceful/secluded setting was worth the trade-off. Owners were very responsive and helpful. No complaints and would definitely stay their again!"

"We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay on our first trip to Chincoteague. The Spinnaker Waterfront Vacation Home is nicely situated right on a small waterway that opens into the larger Assateague Canal with a beautiful Eastern view of the water. The house is absolutely beautiful and extremely comfortable. With a screened porch that lets you enjoy the outdoors without the bugs to a nice sunroom, you can enjoy your coffee in the mornings with lots of light and sense of openess. The really nice finishing touch to the place was the welcome gifts of wine, local gourmet candy, and a gift card to the Island Creamery. All you need to add is the main course! We highly recommend the Spinnaker!"
