"Our stay at the Pinnacle provided everything we needed for our golfing weekend. Check in was easy, just a quick stop at the gate to get the guest pass and then easy access to the house via the lock box. We found the house to be very nicely decorated as well as clean and well equipped. It was great to be on the first hole of the Nicholas course which made walking back and forth to the club a pleasure. Dining out was easy too, we could walk back to the club for dinner or take a short drive to nearby restaurants. All and all a terrific weekend and a wonderful place to stay. Should we plan another golf weekend at Bay Creek the Pinnacle would be my first choice, and I would highly recommend it to all."

"My family and I were searching for a retreat on the Eastern Shore to cover the wide variety of ages and activity abilities of our group. Our accommodating host, Mike's, home fit that bill and more! My family included my home-bound mother that wanted to sit on the deck and bird watch, to my teenage sons that I couldn't keep inside if I tried! I didn't have to at this sweet retreat! The home boasts a canoe and two kayaks to use at your pleasure along with a crab pot to set out to catch your dinner for the night! Along with crabs, we also caught our share of fish for the 3 nights that we stayed! You can even cook them on the big grill/burner and steamer right on the deck! The sleeping accommodations worked fine for my family. It was great to have the extra beds in the bedrooms. My 9 year old daughter loved sleeping in her own bed in our room. Our mom took the down-stairs bedroom, as she does not do stairs anymore. Something that is not mentioned in the info for the home is that there is a ramp for the house as well as stairs. I am not sure about recommending it for a wheelchair, but it would very easily accommodate a walker. My mother-in-law found it very easy to enter the house via the ramp instead of taking the stairs. My kids were pleasantly surprised to find that we had Wi-Fi and satellite TV. We took a day trip over to Assateague and the ponies happened to be visible on our way through Chincoteague! We got to take many pictures right from the car where we pulled over! That was a huge treat for us and will be talked about for a very long time to come!! It was a great little ride over to the beach at Assateague and Chincoteague. We wanted to stay an extra night because we felt like we hadn't enjoyed the cottage enough! Mike answers his emails promptly. He was very flexible and so relaxed about making our plans work. Thank you Mike! We hope to get back very soon!!"

"What a wonderful place to vacation with the family and friends! We stayed here the last week of August 2015 and both the house and Cape Charles were simply charming. We were two families, and there was more than enough room for all of us. The house was fully stocked and very clean. There was so much to do for the kids and adults alike...there was biking, boating, crabbing, kayaking and a pool table just to name a few. I highly recommend going to the beach to see the sunset every night...just breathtaking. There were great restaurants in the area, and we loved ending the night sitting around the fire in the back. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat and definitely plan on going back. Thank you!!"

"I loved the place. It was calm and serene and loved the natural beauty. Moreover, Denise, the property manager was very helpful and showed us everything we needed. It is close to Cape Charles beach. Chincoteage island is just about an hour away. Thanks Connie for being so courteous and answering all our queries and clarifying all our doubts. And surely, the perfect blend of antique charm and modern conveniences in that house."
