  • Perfectly Delightful Time

"In August my family (9) rented Sea-Esta for two glorious weeks. The house is marvelous, well equipped and in great condition. The living/great room allowed for our musicians to practice with our 13 year old enjoying drum lessons( on quiet pads) from his aunt and uncle. Three daughters in law cooked and created tasty meals while the badminton “court” allowed for family competition. The beach was heavenly with many critter hunts by our 6 year old as well as wave jumping with her dad and mom. As a former owner of a beach property on the Delaware Bay fond memories kept flowing . My younger set appreciated the wi-fi availability. We all loved having waffles and visiting the store for urgent supplies. I am also happy to have chosen a house without a pool: it encouraged hours on the beach. I would recommend this lovely house to any family who would honor the rules on respect someone else’s investment!"

  • Week by the Beach

"We recently had a one week stay at this beautiful condo. The owner was a pleasure to work with and was very accommodating. She recommended several good restaurants in the area, many of which we visited. The condo is very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. My only comment would be that it would be nice if paper goods, cleaning supplies and soap were supplied. It was a pain to have to buy all those things once we got there. Other than that, we had a great time and enjoyed meeting the owner."

  • A fantastic weekend getaway

"My husband's aunts were visiting from out of town and the last item on their itinerary was a beach trip. We were debating between Ocean City and Virginia Beach. As the family wanted to stay all at one place together with close access to the beach and a boardwalk nearby, we went on the search for vacation homes in Virginia Beach. When our initial search resulted in many unavailable homes, our excitement began to wane until a cousin saw this home. Which was still available for the days we need! From the beginning, the owner was very helpful and accommodating. The house is just as advertised and though we knew how it looked like from the photos, we still were in awe of it when we arrived. The kids especially loved the game room and the pool! The proximity to the beach was great- made for wonderful morning walks. Our party ranged in age from 1 to 60, and everyone enjoyed themselves. The kitchen was fully stocked, the grill was put to great use, and the towels given were beneficial. My sons (8 years and 1 year old) also loved the huge master tub. This was our first major family getaway and thanks to Makin Memories, we were able to make beautiful memories with our loved ones. I am confident our family will agree to my strong recommendations for this home if a trip to Virginia Beach is on the schedule."

  • Great house in Amazing Neighborhood

"We stayed at this house 7/5-7/12. It was a perfect house for us. There were 4 adults 3 kids. The house is updated, clean, well maintained and fully stocked with bikes, beach chairs, beach toys, and umbrellas and Pool noodles. It had tons of books, games, DVDs and cards. The owners sent detailed information about access to the house and directions. We arrived to an immaculate home with a notebook of important details listing grocery stores, restaurants, and things to do and see! The pool was clean and ready for use. I can't say enough nice things about the owners and their amazing house. We will definately rent this same house again next year. Without a doubt. My only complaint is that the week went by too quickly and I didn't stay for two weeks."
