"What an absolutely lovely home. We had three families in one house and we all felt like we had plenty of space. The house is well equipped with a kitchen stocked full of pots and pans, big bedrooms and lots of comfortable furniture. It really felt like home, unlike some sparsely decorated VRBO homes I have stayed at in the past. Watching the dolphins play every morning from the deck while enjoying my coffee was great and the beach is just a two minute walk away. The owner was wonderful and immediately responsive whenever we needed him. Our whole group had a great time at this place. Everything about this house was really terrific and I would recommend it without hesitation."

"Our stay was very nice the kids and I had a blast. The house was clean and just the right size to come back to and relax after a day of sightseeing or at the beach. The short walk to the beach was convenient. Would definitely stay there again. The owner was also very nice and easy to work with."

"Our first time ever in Virginia Beach. We wanted a beach house that was comfortable, quiet and roomy enough for three generations of our family. We got that and so much more. A perfect little "nook" for our two-year old grandson, an outdoor shower to rinse him off after a day on the beach, a private yard perfect for "corn hole" tournaments, distinctly different porches for spreading out during the day, a beautifully-appointed and well-stocked kitchen, ample beach chairs and beach toys, puzzles and games for all ages and easy access to a very wide and beautiful beach. The owners of this home clearly love the beach and have managed to preserve the charm of this older property while keeping it updated for modern conveniences. We loved watching the ship traffic through binoculars from the upstairs sun room, morning breakfasts on the back screened porch (very cool and breezy), and the large living area for congregating throughout the day and evening. Local restaurants were fabulous. So many options to choose from and all very, very good. Close enough to the "strip" of Virginia Beach if you want to experience that part of town but easily far enough away to have a very secluded and quiet stay. The next time we go to Virginia Beach, we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else."

"Turtles Return is a gem. This was our second stay. Our first was two years ago. We were concerned that the condo may show wear and tear; however, it still looks new and fresh. The owners have clearly taken pride in this condo. Turtles Return is on our favorite beach in Virginia – it boarders state and national parks, so you have complete privacy and nature to the south – not a single house. In fact, there are no hotels in this area, so it is very quiet, yet close to restaurants and entertainment. The condo does not have an ocean view, however, we really enjoy the large balcony overlooking the pool and courtyard – the sunsets are fantastic. If the weather is not good you can watch one of the 100+ movies, read one of the great books, or play some of the games that are in the condo. Overall, we think Turtles Return is fantastic and we plan to return for a third visit."
