  • Has it all

"This unit is the best I have ever rented. Location perfect.decor perfect, equipped perfect. From the balcony, you can look right into one of the swimming pools. The beach is terrific and the view of ocean spectacular. Walking distance to extremely nice playground. Walking distance to restaurants. Only negative is sketchy telephone reception. Clean and well maintainted. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone."

  • Excellent accomodation for a week at the beach

"We had a fantastic week staying at this condo with our 1 year old and 4 year old. The condo had everything we needed, and it was all in very good condition (furniture, pots and pans, etc.). I was really impressed that they had all the extras like dish soap, paper towels and laundry detergent. There were plenty of towels for bathing and beach. My 4 year old loved the bunk beds. The game cube has been replaced by a TV/DVD, which she loved as well. There was a pack and play (unexpected) that worked great for my little one. The master bed was super comfortable- like sleeping on a cloud. The ONLY thing I kind of wish they had was a beach cart to help get toys, towels, chairs, etc to the beach. The pool was very nice and not very crowded, even though we were there around July 4. The part that looks like a hot tub part in pictures is not - same temp as regular pool- but maybe just broken when we were there. Still fun for kids to play in. The location of the condo was wonderful- both in relation to the beach, restaurants, grocery store, entertainment, and also within the building- not right on the pool, close to steps and not next to the elevator or stairs where there would be more traffic/noise. There is a luggage cart for the building to help get bags in. The owner was communicative and very easy to work with. We can't wait to go back!"

  • Two couples vacation

"This was a great place to stay. It was remote, quiet and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed the sun rises and sun sets each day. We would definitely stay here again if visiting the Williamsburg area."

  • A solid rental, but probably wouldn't stay here again.

"The positives of this house: It's a fun and interesting house, with an elevator, winding staircases, and unique layout. It's right on the beach and there is a lifeguard stand right in front of the house. It's very easy to get to all the restaurants and shops of VA Beach. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet. The owner/rental agent is very friendly and easy to work with. The place comes w/two boogie boards and a beach wagon (no beach chairs or toys though.) This is one of the few places in VA Beach that let's you rent outside of the typical Sat to Sat schedule. The negatives: The place could use a thorough deep cleaning. There was an underlining "ick" factor to certain areas. The 2nd floor w/two of the bedrooms was so dusty. There were huge cobwebs hanging off the ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms, and it seems like none of the statues or tables in that hallway had been dusted in awhile. You have to provide your own bedding and towels. (Easily done through a local rental agent though). However, this gives you the opportunity to see how yellow and stained the pillows are as you're putting the pillowcases on, and that is a nasty thought as you lay your head down to sleep. The white carpet in the master bedroom is heavily stained in one area. The place has a bit of a neglected, rental feel- although you can still see how grand it was in it's prime. The kitchen really needs more bowls (I think there were only 2.)"
