Felt like Home
"This is a very nice place and a good value for the money. 6 of us stayed here for 6 days and were very comfortable. The furnishings are classy and the interior decorating is marvelous. Seems like its all be remodeled recently with lots of dimmers and good lighting. The beds and bedding were all so nice. We used the Internet and it was plenty fast for our Netflix account. We saved money on dining by going shopping at the nearby Safeway up Wisconsin and filling up the fridge. There is a coffee maker there, but Saxbees and Starbucks are like 3 blocks away. This place is in a very good neighborhood. I felt very safe walking around there. Its a 20 minute walk to the Foggy Bottom Metro, but the bus stop is a 1 minute walk away. Parking is pretty scarce and you need a parking permit. The Landlord was nice enough to procure the permit and left it for us. You can easily do without a car in this location because of the extensive public transportation."

"My family of four very much enjoyed this apartment. It was newly renovated. Very modern and quiet as it is on the second/top floor of the condo building.
I noticed previous guests having issues with internet but that has been clearly corrected as we had our own internet network with super fast internet service.
As far as sightseeing, this unit could not be more convenient. Metro is two blocks away, along with grocery store, restaurants and even farmer's market, where we bought fresh veggies on Saturday.
It took us less than ten minutes on the Metro to get to the Smithsonian. We walked to the Zoo in fifteen minutes and spend a friday night on U St and walked there in about 15 minutes.
Overall, very happy with our vacation and this unit. Will definitely be back."

"A lovely apartment, large, extremely clean, and unbelievably close to numerous fine restaurants; also metro stop is close. Convenience par excellence. And the Milmans are perfect hosts: attentive, conscientious, discrete and honest. We left a muffler behind; they found it and mailed it to us, no muss no fuss. Good people all the way around, and we would stay with them again in a heartbeat."

"My teenage son and I stayed in this lovely apartment last week while we explored DC for his spring break.
The apartment was as described, wonderfully furnished and well taken care of. It was spacious and offered us each some privacy. The kitchen had everything we needed for casual meals (though I think there was enough to entertain a small dinner party!) and there were some household and food staples already in the cupboards.
Plenty of hangers, towels and linens were available for our use, and the stacked washer/dryer allowed us to pack lightly and come home with clean clothing! The shower was great!
I loved the proximity to the Dupont Circle metro, we traveled throughout the city without needing a car. Shopping was within walking distance and we felt quite safe even late at night.
We had a lot of sightseeing on our agenda so didn't spend much time with our host Ray, but he did offer a tour when we arrived. It was very nice to have the host upstairs just in case."
