"Beautiful house just a five minute walk away from King Street with its shops and restaurants, bars and boutiques. A few steps away from a playground and dog park.
The house has everything you need to enjoy your stay, and should you need anything else, the owners are always available to help you out. We were met with welcoming touches that were a pleasant surprise. We're a family with three very young kids and a golden retriever and we were very happy with our choice. Thank y"

"Great Spot to get away from it. Lovely quiet community with most amenities a short drive away. Superb for those wanting to brush up on civil war history, the area drips with it! Most things you need are in the house, but would say that it would have been nice to have had some outdoor furniture for the deck as it was summer and perhaps a convenient gas BBQ, but this doesn't detract from the overall place. Great spot. Many thanks!"

Some special memories from our weekend—
* Talking to Anthony at Haley Fine Art, Main Street
* Spacious and cozy rooms in The House on Water Street
* Sitting around the warm wood stove after our gale winds walk back from El Quijote (and loved running into Barbara and Ray)
* Small community mass at St. Peter’s with wonderful Father Tuck
* Budddha in the bedroom
* Loving company and plenty of couch space for all 5 of us
* Convenient location, and able to walk every where, even in snowy conditions
* Valentine’s novelty lights were a lovely addition to our Valentine session
And most of all, closeness and love of our family/birthday escape to Sperryville.
Thanks so much Barbara and Ray. Your love is evident here. Lovely time."

"My family of 4 spent a weekend here - and this place knows how to bring the good life! The house is very spacious, the breakfast was plentiful, and we enjoyed 3 meals sitting right outside, just enjoying the scenery. My kids loved exploring the farm, seeing the sheep and llamas, and paddling a canoe around the pond. There are brochures with nearby attractions - which are plentiful. We spent one day at nearby Great Country Farm and another in Harper's Ferry. There are at least a dozen nearby wineries to tour in the area. It was a great weekend of relaxation away from DC - our normal home. If you're considering this place for a wedding - it's gorgeous!"
