"Visited with friends Labor Day weekend 2015. Quarter mile from Little Devil Stairs and Keyser Run fire road, both of which can get you to a range of great, steep, and wild trails in eastern Shenandoah NP. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and dishes, enough showers for the adults to clean up, and the hot tub is great. Will look to book here again!"

"The Cabin at the Mill was a perfect vacation spot for the two of us and Buddy, our lab. The accommodation was just as promised - clean, comfortable and cosy. The location was great for daily trips into the Shenandoah National Park
to go hiking and also convenient for food shopping. Bonnie and Jim were exceptional hosts -- there whenever you needed them, but otherwise pleasantly in the background. We initially missed internet and cell phone service, but ultimately not only survived ... but thrived! We would return to the Cabin in a heartbeat ..."

"I just stayed in Peyton's cottage last weekend. My sister lives nearby but has a house full with 4 kids. The cottage was very clean and adorable!
Love the decorations! It is a great location. You can walk to all the shops and restaurants. I brought my large rescue dogs and it was great. They loved the large floor space to lay around. Lots of great places to walk dogs and fields for playing catch. Peyton & her husband were very friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this lovely cottage and area!"

"Wow. The Play Garden in early spring: there never was such a sweet place, clad in the fragrance and soft beauty of mid-April in the Blue Ridge and Shenandoah Valley. It was cold when we arrived. No matter. We felt warm and loved. We watched as winter was shed a little more each day, and wild flowers bloomed and trees greened. There was much to do around the neighborhood, and we especially enjoyed several visits to Art at the Mill (Burwell-Morgan Mill in nearby Millwood). Old and new friends joined us during our ten-day stay, and they promptly fell in love with The Play Garden. Who can blame them? We will return."
