"We had a great stay at this home. It comfortably slept seven adults, and was more spacious than we anticipated. We had easy access to the Metro, only a 5-10 minute drive away depending on traffic. It was also very close to many restaurants, grocery (Safeway, Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Mom's Organic Market), stores, and cinema. The Mosiac District, which is just a 5 minute drive, was a great local area to hang out and eat, and had lots of free parking. We enjoyed being near enough to explore D.C., Reston, Tysons Corner and Fairfax. The house itself is located in a quiet neighborhood, but still felt like we were close to so many different areas to explore. We had easy, quick, reliable communication with the owner as well."

"highly recommend, would stay again, excellent communication from owner. Our group of 5 adults stayed for a long weekend and made wind ridge our home base for wine country 1/2 marathon. We all had plenty of room, the well appointed kitchen was great for meal prep; location made the trip in and out of DC easy. Wegmans is nearby and a great supermarket for provisions. The house is better than the pictures can relate, very relaxing secluded woodland setting."

"Wow. The Play Garden in early spring: there never was such a sweet place, clad in the fragrance and soft beauty of mid-April in the Blue Ridge and Shenandoah Valley. It was cold when we arrived. No matter. We felt warm and loved. We watched as winter was shed a little more each day, and wild flowers bloomed and trees greened. There was much to do around the neighborhood, and we especially enjoyed several visits to Art at the Mill (Burwell-Morgan Mill in nearby Millwood). Old and new friends joined us during our ten-day stay, and they promptly fell in love with The Play Garden. Who can blame them? We will return."
