"I needed a place not only for my family but for my extended family. A Hotel was out of the question since we were staying just over one week. We were gathering for a family wedding and I couldn't have been happier with the location and comfort of the house. Walking distance to the Metro and just a short drive to DC.
The convenience of making our own meals and being able to feel comfortable in a home is awesome. This is something I will look to do in the future. The owners were very gracious a a pleasure to work with.
Thanks for opening your home to my family."

"We had a delightful visit to Front Royal for a nearby wedding. "The Nest" was the perfect comfortable home away from home for the 2 of us (although the house has 3 BR), tucked into a tranquil forested hill. Lee is the consummate hostess, leaving us thorough information about the house/community, wine/snacks in the frig, and an open invitation to enjoy their lovely property. Very clean and well-furnished with all you need. Location is near north entry to Skyline Drive through Shenandoah National Park where we enjoyed hiking."

"My daughter lives in Northern Virginia and is getting married in six weeks. I thought it would be nice to visit the area and have her and her fiancé for dinner to finalize wedding plans and to have a family afternoon to celebrate them both. From the moment I arrived at the Hunt Box I knew we had chosen the right place for our weekend celebration. The home was warm and welcoming, very well stocked with anything you need and beautiful views of the rolling hillside.
I wanted to cook some family favorites and set a lovely table, this is the spot to do it. The kitchen is so well appointed there was nothing I needed, cooking was enjoyable and a lovely evening was shared by all. Karen (one of the owners) even made a lovely centerpiece of beautiful flowers for our celebration. The owners Rick and Karen are wonderful, they truly enjoy their guests and are there as much or as little as you need them. They are warm and welcoming with a great desire to make your stay memorable. I have always believed the" little things" make a difference and they have this down to a science.
The area has some great restaurants and some little boutique stores that provided some great times as well as numerous wineries in the area.
The Hunt Box is a perfect getaway to relax and to enjoy the company of family and friends. You won't be disappointed!"

"We are incredibly happy that we chose to stay at the Instrata. I always do a lot of research before I choose a place for our family of 4 to stay. My #1 priority is safety and cleanliness. Then I worry about the combination of fun, convenience and price. The Instrata was perfect in every area. It is in a wonderful neighborhood. The apartment was huge and immaculately clean. We drove to D.C. (this unit is technically in Arlington but it sure seemed like we were incredibly close to everything we wanted to see) and we NEVER moved our car out of the provided parking spot. This was possible because the metro stop was less than 1 block away from the side door of the building. From this stop you can get to EVERY major spot in D.C. If you have never ridden the D.C. metro it is incredibly clean and convenient. After a long day of sightseeing my kids really enjoyed cooling off in the pool. The mini-movie theater was a big hit as well. There are a ton of restaurants within walking distance. The staff of the building was incredibly nice. We even had a chance to meet the owners who were also great. We got all of this for about the price of a single hotel room. Perfect place to stay."
