"Perfect for a weekend stay in Virginia. The house is spacious, well-furnished, comfortable, and close to everything we needed. Juanita was a considerate and attentive host. Would definitely recommend!"

  • Feels like home.

    Baerbel v.

"We stayed with 2 adults and 2 kids (11 and 13 years) a total of 10 days at Richards Condo and enjoyed our vacation very much. Being close to the interstate 395 and Route 7 gave us the opportunity to reach everything (from the Great Falls or Mount Vernon to Downtown D.C.) in no time. There is a Safeway and a little shopping Mall few minutes drive away, but also a little store close by provides everything you need urgently. The spectacular view by day and night towards THE MALL in DC was a real treat. Parking place was very generously provided and we truly enjoyed the nice swimming pool in the afternoon. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to provide hot and cold meals and we made good use of that. It is a perfect place to stay and explore the metropolitain area and return whenever you feel to a place you can call "home away from home"."

"We stayed at this vacation home just recently with my wife our sons and their families, total of 12. What a wonderful experience, a beautiful home with all of the amenities needed. Our younger grandchildren called it "The Mansion". The owners were very accommodating, had just a very minor issue which they fixed immediately. The location was perfect, plenty of shopping within minutes and DC was about 30 minutes away, providing you miss rush hour. I would stay here again without hesitation. Had a great time!!!"

  • What a place!

    David102

"Wow. The Play Garden in early spring: there never was such a sweet place, clad in the fragrance and soft beauty of mid-April in the Blue Ridge and Shenandoah Valley. It was cold when we arrived. No matter. We felt warm and loved. We watched as winter was shed a little more each day, and wild flowers bloomed and trees greened. There was much to do around the neighborhood, and we especially enjoyed several visits to Art at the Mill (Burwell-Morgan Mill in nearby Millwood). Old and new friends joined us during our ten-day stay, and they promptly fell in love with The Play Garden. Who can blame them? We will return."
