"Peaceful, quiet location. Three miles from Route 81 but total privacy. Convenient to shopping. Owner has the home extremely well prepared for your stay . The road the home is located on excellent for walking, little in the way of traffic. A winery within walking distance, less than 1 mile away. Beautiful countryside.
Nearby hiking in National Forest, one example Wolf Gap on the Virginia/West Virginia border, directions: Conicville Road to Route 42, north on 42 to Columbia Furnace, left on Route 675 west in Columbia Furnace, follow 675 to top of mountain, Wolf Gap Recreation Area.. Tibbets Knob trail a short hike to views of the valley below."

"My Family and I really enjoyed your vacation home. The location of the home was perfect. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious. It definitely felt like a home away from home. The basement is awesome! The pool table was a plus for my family since it was all adults! The kitchen was spacious and had all we need to make our stay feel comfortable. It is a great vacation home and I would definitely recommend the home. Not to mention snow tubing and skiing is an added bonus! Thanks for making our stay worth while and we will return in the near future."

"It was the JMU graduation weekend and 10 of us descended on the Stonewall Crossing house. We had such a great weekend gathering on the extra large wrap around porch for all our meals, sitting by the fire in the outside fireplace and taking the opportunity to kayak down the Shenandoah river in the afternoon.
The rooms and bathrooms were lovely and large. We loved reading about the history of the house and the area. Our only regret was that we were there for only 3 days. We all wanted to stay longer!"

"This house was a fantastic find for us - secluded with everything we needed. Our four-legged kids loved playing in the river (so did we!). Great fishing, canoeing, reading, and relaxing. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home - we will be back!"
