"We had a great time - the house was beautiful, the property was quiet and peaceful, and the area is great. It was easy driving to get to the local caverns and activities, and was perfect for just hanging out and connecting with old friends. Our friends' 3 1/2 year old LOVED all of the toys and games that were in the home. The house was well prepared and we were able to cook and eat and enjoy our stay."

"The McDowell House was the perfect place for my family to stay while visiting Lexington for Thanksgiving. The house is incredibly spacious, with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a well-appointed kitchen. It was great to gather in the sitting room or around the dining room table, but was also really easy to sneak off to a secluded comfy chair to read or look at art. The architectural and historical character of the house itself is very impressive, even for Lexington. Finally, the location could not be better for just walking out the front door and taking advantage of all Lexington has to offer--the universities, shops, and restaurants."

"This house is perfect for multiple families - we were 15 people ranging in age from 17 to 70s. There was plenty of space, plenty of beds, gorgeous views, and a spacious kitchen to cook in. Loved the 2 refrigerators and double washer and dryer sets! Compared to other houses we drove past, St. Nick had a smooth driveway, ample parking, and few stairs to enter! Having plenty of bed choices on both floors was a big plus for those traveling with us that have difficulty with stairs! David was responsive to our questions. The house was immaculately cleaned for our arrival! You cannot go wrong with this choice!"

"Except for a small hiccup at the start, our family reunion for the week was amazing. 9 adults and 8 children had plenty of room and the setting in the trees was gorgeous. Everyone slept well (including the 8month old) and the kitchen had ample cooking and eating utensils. Hoping to do this again in a couple of years! Thanks Jami!"
