"Weaverton is a beautiful, cozy home built with exceptional craftsmanship located in an amazingly picturesque location. The outdoor porch overlooking the waterfall was exceptionally relaxing. We enjoyed beautiful mornings and evenings there....rocking and talking the hours away. The house was appointed with everything we needed to make our stay extremely comfortable. Thank you Amy and family for sharing your beautiful Weaverton with us! We'll be back again!"

"My daughters and I stayed here from the last week of June until mid July for a vacation / family reunion. The restored apartment has been furnished with 19th century antiques that, to us, seemed to hint at elegance. It's perfect, with everything you need, and the owner is easy to get along with. Highly recommended."

"I have many, many great things to say about this cabin. We had a group of 6 adults, a 3 year old, and a 7 month old. The house was updated, very clean inside, had the perfect amount of space for our needs, and the kitchen was well-stocked. Being right on the river was lovely and the grass had all been mowed before we got there. There were two fire pit areas that were great (one by the house and one right on the river). Perfect distance to the mountains, town, and river activities. It was great that there were some toys and books left in the living room for my two young children!! And even better there were some birds that had nested around the house. I miss waking up and sitting on the deck or the bench by the river with my cup of coffee!
I did not give this location 5 stars because we experienced lots of spiders (I know..I know...we're in the woods). Maybe the deck and around the house had been cleaned of spider webs before we arrived, but it did not seem to have been. I didn't expect to be bug free, but there were a lot of BIG ones hanging right outside all the doors and windows (luckily only two harmless daddy long legs in the house). We couldn't find a broom to wipe away the webs outside, so we bought one and left one for the next guests. Once we removed the webs, there were fewer, but they were still around. Add to that there were wasp nests above the sliding glass doors, which is probably a bit more serious of an issue. The other issue was the grill could use to be replaced, but it works.
I would definitely recommend this place and will book this place for future trips!!!! Just wipe down the house of all the webs when you arrive if they haven't been already!"

"This house very good for my large family. We are 15 people, adults and children of all ages. We found the web site was an accurate description of Willow Haven. The floor plan allowed space for various activities at once. The kitchen was big enough for cooking and serving dinners. The one cupboard door needs correct repair. Its hinges are incorrectly aligned with the door opening. Other than that, the storage and refrigerator were ample. The bedrooms were comfortable.
The house and setting are charming. My daughter in law exclaimed in delight at the setting and house as we first drove up. The creek was fun to watch. The girls beat the boys at the number of fish caught.
Now to my complaint. We managed but another family might have been most upset. The bathtub adjoining the VMI and W&L rooms leaked badly; as per the sign on the bathtub the shower hose was not used. So it must be the bathtub plumbing that is leaking. It would also be good to have another shower on the Willow side of the house. One shower is not enough for our family.
Despite this one problem, I would rent the house again. Our family enjoyed their stay"
