  • Nice property.

"Overall I gave 4 stars to the house. We had a nice family vacation and this house served its purpose. I only gave 4 stars because some little things at the house could be maintained a little better. Also please do not expect to see an air hockey table there... unless it was hiding I did not see it anywhere. Again property was nice for the price and has a very good location. Enjoy!"

  • "Streamlined rental. On done online. Arrived for presidents weekend with family. The chalet sites at the end of Vale lane. Electronic locks on door, very nice, My wife and I invited our five kids and two of their friends. Had an incredible time. Lots of Room, TVs, Bedrooms,Bathrooms, kitchen fully stocked JUST LIKE HOME!! The house gives off a warm glow on the inside, Nice paintings decorate the walls. They even had China. The Warm inviting easy to use gas fireplace was a favorite spot in front of the TV. There was a Sun room with a chess board. We used to teach chess. The property was a short 4min. down to the Resort! so it was easy to shuttle those that wanted tubing and those that snowboarded. All said FIVE STARS.. What family memories are made of."

  • Whole family loved this house!

"We rented this chalet for a week at the tail end of ski season (family of 5). We lucked out, as there was a ton of snow on St. Patrick's day this year! The house is about a mile from the ski resort. I walked back and forth a couple times. The roads up to the house are pretty steep. If there is snow, I would take 4-wheel drive if possible. My husband thought his BMW all-wheel-drive could handle it, but no. We got him out eventually, though ;). The owners have arranged for snow removal, so it was a nice surprise when a man with a plow and shovels came by in the afternoon to clear the driveway and walkways. From the pictures online, it's hard to tell if the layout would be convenient or not. In person, it is awesome. The fireplace area is sooo nice, and we had no trouble whatsoever getting a fire going (make sure you use DRY wood, even if you have to pick some up from the 7-11). There is a notebook in the house with directions on how to work absolutely everything, so no worries. I loved that there was a mudroom. I made my kids leave their boots in there so as not to track snow all over the house. It also kept the house warmer because you could close the door to the mudroom and not have a breeze every time someone came inside. The kitchen was on the small side, but well stocked and labeled so you didn't have to open door after door to find something. We had no trouble cooking family dinners. The dining table is a nice size. The bedrooms are spacious. The master bedroom was very comfortable. The showers have decent water pressure. Everything works as it should. The basement is a nice recreation room. The kids loved the ping-pong and darts, and of course the TV. It was great to have a selection of dvd's to choose from. The basement is finished, warm and inviting, and has its own bathroom, so it is a nice place to hang out. It was especially nice that the owners allowed us to bring our little dog. He was overjoyed to finally be able to come with us on a vacation. He was so excited to have a change of scene and be able to explore someplace new. It make it more fun for all of us to have him there. Angie the owner was very easy to work with, no trouble at all with payment and refund of deposit. She was even able to accommodate our request for a late checkout - much appreciated! By the end of the trip, my 19 yr old daughter asked if we could buy the house! Had to say no, since it's not for sale, and we are tuition-poor :(."

  • Beautiful, Clean, Family-Friendly, but NO ESPN

"We had the most wonderful stay here. The cabin is spotless, and stocked with everything you need plus more. There are toys, games, books, rockers in the secondary bedrooms. There are dishes, coking utensils (the good stuff!), a Kitchen-aid mixer, nice grill, tons of seating inside and out. We would love to stay here again BUT, although they advertise DirectTV, there is no ESPN and very few channels. If my husband new he wouldn't be able to watch college football on opening day, it might have been a deal breaker!"
