"3 generations stayed for Memorial Day weekend at the farm. The house is spacious and has room for everyone to either gather together or have a little privacy. The outdoor firepit area and deck with gas grill were enjoyed by all. Our hosts, Carol and Jim, were available as needed and frequently checked in with us as they went about their normal routines. Jim made sure our granddaughter got to see the baby lambs up close. The fresh eggs were a treat as were the strawberries I gathered from the garden for breakfast.Carol even contacted us and mailed us a few items we inadvertently left behind. We were so glad to have found this gem for our stay for a wedding in Bridgewater. I believe we had the best accommodations of all the wedding guests! You won't be disappointed with a stay at Seven Oaks Farm."

"My boyfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend and we loved every minute. The cabin is in a great spot for exploring Shenandoah National Park. The cabin is wonderfully maintained the fireplace and hot tub are wonderful after a cold day hiking. I imagine this would be a great spot to stay in the summer months too! I will definitely be back."

"This was a wonderful week at the river. With 3 children, we enjoyed the canoe down the river to the bridge. It's shallow in most parts, so our 6 yr old was able to walk right across the river at the back of the cabin. Our 2 girls immediately took over the loft and their brother wasn't allowed to enter their domain:) We were there during the July 4th weekend so there were a lot of kayaks and tubers going down the river, we were entertained by people watching for a number of hours. The rest of the time, it's very quiet and peaceful. We grilled out while looking over the river. The decks are great for just sitting and relaxing. On weekdays, the river isn't busy and we used the thoughtfully provided canoe to go down the river. There were tubes there as well. Linens aren't provided, so don't forget those. There is a Food Lion right on the way to the cabin; no problem with supplies. Our dog loved the water and checked out the river riders gently. Didn't catch many fish, what we did catch was too small and we sent them on their merry way. Overall, I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a full get away from any hustle and bustle of the city. Thanks so much for sharing!"
