  • Nature at its Best!

"Impeccable. The comforts of home combined with the feeling of rest & relaxation of the great outdoors. Since this was a weekend visit we appreciated not having to pack all sorts of gear...Cabin is thoughtfully stocked with all that a family could possibly want or need. Hull's Drive In brought back fond memories, as did the drive through Safari Park.Goshen Pass is a must see. Secluded to a point but not too far away for exploring!. Grands paddled up & down the Maury River. We loved that we could sit on the porch & with a view of the water as well as the meadow. Just a little bit of heaven. Every detail was well thought out. This will surely be added to "our favorites" with the hopes that we will return someday soon. Added bonus was that the Bichon's were allowed to accompany us. Thank You, Judy March & Family"

  • Gorgeous House with Stunning Views

"My group of five good friends VERY much enjoyed our stay at this home. The house was absolutely charming. But the outdoor space is what made this house so great for us; both the front yard looks out over rolling hills leading up to a mountain range, while the backyard overlooks the neighbor's cornfield with ANOTHER mountain range in the background! We made liberal use of the brand new deck and outdoor grill. I woke up early both mornings to pour a cup of coffee and sit outside, taking in the majestic views. Our mid-fall visit was characterized by pleasant temperatures in the mid-50s to low 70s, so we could spend a lot of time outdoors. The fall foliage was in full swing, so the views were even more beautiful. The weekend was a welcome respite from my fast-paced life in the city. I'd highly recommend this property to anyone - it was easy to get to (right off of I-81) and has nearby amenities (grocery store and gas stations 5 minutes down the road). We were fortunate that our visit coincided with Shenandoah County's AutumnFest, a local festival with food, drinks and arts and crafts. Thanks!"

  • Special Find!

"This beautiful historic home located off the main roads in rolling pasture land near Lexington, Virginia, was the perfect place for us to gather for a small family wedding. It has spacious rooms for entertaining including a sun porch and a large updated and well furnished kitchen and beautiful views all around. Outside is also a perfect place for adults to gather and children to play, weather permitting. The house is well maintained and filled with interesting family history from Jamestown on for those who enjoy history. Though it has only two bedrooms, it offers much larger space to gather and entertain and welcome. It is a very special find!"
