"We recently rented this home for a "girls" weekend away. The home is warm, cozy and well stocked. We were able to hike at Crabtree Falls, visit a local winery and hit a couple of the local microbreweries in the area. We spent time visiting and eating out on the lovely deck, to take in the mountain air. The home is a great place to gather. The homeowner was extremely responsive and very easy to work with. I would definitely stay here again."

"My husband and I and our 2 dogs rented this cabin for 3 nights. This cabin and property are impeccable! We were blown away from the time we pulled down the driveway and saw this beautiful property! We fished, hiked, grilled, played games and enjoyed the fire pit each night. My husband enjoyed the kayak while the dogs swam along beside him! I can't say enough about this wonderful property! We will be back!"

plesant little farmhouse with everything you need, include mountain views
"Had a fantastic trip down to VA for a family wedding and a few days of vacation. This little farmhouse is well maintained, comfortable and has everything (even coffee) you need to make your stay pleasant and enjoyable. Enjoy your coffee in the morning on the front porch looking out at the Shenandoah National park or our back on the patio with view of more mountains. A nighty visit to the hotub was also in order. Quiet little neighborhood and easy access to get where you need to go. The owner Gary was great to deal with. If you stay here make sure to check out the Hawksbill diner - good food and great prices. Make the trip to Triple Crown BBQ in Luray (open Fri, sat, Sun) for some delicious Q. The steeps upstairs are a little steep so careful if you are in socks only, wife slide down on her backside, no worries though she was fine. No damage. No WIFI either which was nice, except for my daughter that had online homework to complete for a college summer class - no worries though she just ran up the road to Luray and the Gathering grounds. Thanks Gary!~"
