"We really enjoyed the chalet an smokehouse. After a day of canoeing it provided a very comfortable place to stay. An early morning walk on the Chessie trail, located right across the street, was a great place to get some exercise and enjoy nature. We will plan on returning."

"Impeccable. The comforts of home combined with the feeling of rest & relaxation of the great outdoors. Since this was a weekend visit we appreciated
not having to pack all sorts of gear...Cabin is thoughtfully stocked with all that a family could possibly want or need. Hull's Drive In brought back fond memories, as did the drive through Safari Park.Goshen Pass is a must see.
Secluded to a point but not too far away for exploring!.
Grands paddled up & down the Maury River. We loved that we could sit on the porch & with a view of the water as well as the meadow. Just a little bit of heaven. Every detail was well thought out.
This will surely be added to "our favorites" with the hopes that we will return someday soon. Added bonus was that the Bichon's were allowed to accompany us. Thank You, Judy March & Family"

"A perfect spot in a perfect location. Just minutes from beautiful and historical Lexington.....Twin Maple Farm made us very welcome on arrival. We had chosen especially because they welcomed dogs, and we were travelling with our golden retriever. All of us couldnt have been happier. Janet was on hand to welcome us and give us the lay of the land, and the carriage house. It was welcoming, spacious and had everything we could possibly want. We were only there for a one night stay as we passed through the area, but she pointed out the things to enjoy, like the view, the horse, the pastures, etc etc etc. Even recommending a dog friendly restaurant in town for us to try. You will not be disappointed after your stay."

"We have stayed at the Schoolhouse twice now, and both times it has been great. It's super-clean (enough to make you jealous), and comfortable, and it has everything we needed (and more: the pool table is great.) We're a big group-- babies, kids, grownups, night owls and early birds, and it worked perfectly for us. It's an incredibly pretty spot-- you could just drive around all day and marvel at the mountains. We even did a (freezing!) New Year's polar bear swim in the river.
We plan on going there again, for sure."
