"We choose Double Trouble for a much need long family weekend. It was perfect for 6 adults , a toddler and two dogs. We had plenty of room and the location was perfect for day trips to Crozet, wineries and hiking. With wifi and cable TV and perfect mountain views, we could not have asked for a better spot for a family reconnect weekend!"

"We stayed in Moccasin Lodge Friday-Monday and had a great time. Great size home, very cozy feel, with lots of rooms and sleeping options. (rooms with 1 bed as well as rooms with bunk beds for doubling up!) The house was easy to get to, and we lucked out with the resort having their Valley Fest that weekend, which was a blast! (We walked to Valley Fest which was a little over 1.5 miles from the house.) Good size kitchen and fridge to store food for a couple of days and there are definitely enough pans and even a crock pot to utilize during your stay so you don't have to pack your own! They also provided linens and towels which was nice.
Really nice grill which was great for kicking off summer with a cook out and the double back deck came in handy so it didn't get too crowded on one level. The only cons I can think of is the house is on a hill so there isn't a yard to make use of (corn hole and our crochet set had to stay in the car) and there was not a fire pit as advertised so our s'mores will have to wait until another time.
Will definitely be keeping in mind if traveling back to Massanutten!
P.S. Be careful if you park at the bottom of the driveway! Gravel can be tricky in a smaller car!"

"My daughter just graduated from JMU. My family and I have been going to the house for the last four years. We love it so much, it's always clean and ready for us. Now that she has graduated we are going to rent the house for our vacation.
Thank you for all the memories."

"This unit was clean and well kept.with the beds being exceptionally comfortable. The view was fantastic and we had the perfect viewing area to see the Fourth of July fireworks! We tried geocaching and it was definitely a memorable experience! Overall. the resort would be better suited to families with young children. However, dinner was great with exceptional service to detail."
