"We had a wonderful stay in May at Seven Oaks Cottage. The facilities were just as described, very clean and comfortable, and so homely with lots of personal touches and plenty of leaflets and advice about the surrounding area. We visited Staunton, the Frontier Culture Museum the Skyline Drive and Charlottesville - all an easy drive from the cottage. We also enjoyed the fresh eggs the owners gave us from their chickens! The owners were very helpful and friendly, whilst also respecting our privacy. We enjoyed seeing all the animals, walking in the forest on the farm and sampling some of the fresh strawberries growing just outside the cottage. The fire pit was great - toasting marshmallows in the flames, spotting fireflies and stargazing over the rolling hills around us - a truly magical stay, thank you so much."

"We stayed here because we just ran the Blue Ridge Marathon. The condo was across the street from the start and finish line and about a 5 min walk from the City Market area. With close to 1100 square feet we never felt crowded and having a full kitchen was a great way to save on eating out all the time. An available washer/dryer was a great feature so we didn't have to worry about dirty clothes after our race. Check-in and check-out went smoothly and we never felt hurried. I would definitely recommend this place to friends visiting Roanoke or during football season if hotels in Blacksburg were sold out. Just don't plan on renting the place during the weekend of the Blue Ridge Marathon because I'm calling dibs right now."

"We were in the area for a November wedding. Three generations stayed in the home very comfortably, using three bedrooms but not the extra bed in the hallway. We loved having books and a crib available for the two-year old. Being able to walk easily into town was a real plus for us as we had only one car for 7 people."

"My Family and I really enjoyed your vacation home. The location of the home was perfect. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious. It definitely felt like a home away from home. The basement is awesome! The pool table was a plus for my family since it was all adults! The kitchen was spacious and had all we need to make our stay feel comfortable. It is a great vacation home and I would definitely recommend the home. Not to mention snow tubing and skiing is an added bonus! Thanks for making our stay worth while and we will return in the near future."
