  • A Wonderful Place to Stay!

"My niece was getting married in Luray, VA and we needed a place for various members of the bride's family to stay. Marksville Manor could not have been more perfect. Imagine arriving at a home you have never seen late in the afternoon and hosting the bridal party that night! The party went so smoothly because the house is outfitted with everything you could possibly need (including the kitchen). Joanie's Pound Cake, a beautiful gift basket (with everything for Smores) and cheese from a local market were waiting in the kitchen. Corn hole boards for outdoor fun were stashed by the side of the house. There was ample parking and the chairs on the front porch were so inviting. The house was very clean and the beds comfortable. We are already looking for an opportunity to return! This is a gem of a place!"

  • Amazing place and staff

"We came up for a weekend of baseball and this house is amazing rustic relaxing. The morning were beautiful with horses everywhere. The kids enjoyed feeding them every morning. The pool was clean and had lots of fun toys. Anita and Colin were awesome they were so nice and helpful. We came from our last game and Colin had setup a fire pit and wood for us to roast marshmallows. Plenty of space for a few families to enjoy this piece of heaven. We had the ball team over to cook out in between games and everyone loved the place!! Can't say enough about Anita and Colin and the whole environment"

  • Great place to get away from it all

"A very nice cabin. The kitchen and views were the best! And the fire pit was the extra touch. Didn't have any luck fishing but that happens. Only a few things that were a smaill issue (but did NOT take away from the stay)-the hot tub had no steps and the temp was impossible to lower, the bed in the downstairs bedroom really needs to be replaced and the road getting there-well it is unpaved and that says it all. I'd gladly say there again."

  • Cozy cabin in the woods

"This was a very clean and cozy cabin nestled in the woods with the soothing sound of the river. A great spot for exploring our destination, Shenandoah Park. I would highly recommend this to anyone! It was very romantic but easily would be a great spot for a small family. The screen porch really made the place feel very roomy."
