"The area was just breathtakingly beautiful! We loved being right on the creek. We saw lots of deer, two brand new ones! The cabin is very secluded but close to some great hiking in the park. We've rented lots of mountain cabins and this one was comparatively GREAT. It was well supplied with what you'd expect-plus more. Books, lots of games, DVDs and a better spice cabinet than I have at home! We will definitely be going back."

"The property was accurately described; it was very comfortable and clean. Eric communicated promptly each time it was necessary - e-mail or phone call. Directions and lock box code were sent several weeks prior to arrival. If you go in the winter I recommend a 4x4 vehicle; driveways are very steep in the area! I would recommend this property to anyone with a large group - adults and kids.
This was our first visit to Massanutten and knew the area was expecting 8-12" of snow the day after our arrival; it snowed non-stop and we were unable to participate in any outdoor activities. The home provided a cozy and warm place to "hang out" - watched the snow fall and the deer roam the back and front of the house."

"What a great place to relax and get away from it all! Very well stocked with whatever you need. We had the best time just relaxing by the river. Even though the river was really low we did manage to kayak a bit. Too bad we couldn't go together but only one kayak paddle. I'm sure it was just an oversight not a big deal. All in all a nice place and would love to go back. First trip with our dog and it was nice. Comment to other dog owners who stay... Clean up after your dogs. Don't leave for the owner or the next guest.
Looking forward to coming back sometime."

"We really enjoyed the chalet an smokehouse. After a day of canoeing it provided a very comfortable place to stay. An early morning walk on the Chessie trail, located right across the street, was a great place to get some exercise and enjoy nature. We will plan on returning."
