  • Great Cabin on the river

"We were travelling back to Williamsburg from Indiana and were looking for something secluded but also close to Luray Caverns and Skyline Drive. We were able to schedule a last minute mini vacation at the cabin and it was everything we were looking for. The owners were very accommodating and the cabin was very comfortable (I couldn't get my grandson off of the very large bean bag chair. We couldn't see or hear anything except for trees and water. It is a cabin and not a hotel so don't expect perfection as the cabin water did have a sulfur smell but overall it was great place for a vacation. It was well furnished and had the extras to make it comfortable. My grandson was happy that he didn't have to live without the internet or DirecTV in the evenings when we were done touring and canoeing. We hope to return again soon for a longer time period and spend more time relaxing and less touring."

  • Out of the Army Ski Trip

"The property was accurately described; it was very comfortable and clean. Eric communicated promptly each time it was necessary - e-mail or phone call. Directions and lock box code were sent several weeks prior to arrival. If you go in the winter I recommend a 4x4 vehicle; driveways are very steep in the area! I would recommend this property to anyone with a large group - adults and kids. This was our first visit to Massanutten and knew the area was expecting 8-12" of snow the day after our arrival; it snowed non-stop and we were unable to participate in any outdoor activities. The home provided a cozy and warm place to "hang out" - watched the snow fall and the deer roam the back and front of the house."

  • Our visit was awesome!

"We truly enjoyed ourselves at the cottage. Our 2 young boys loved the pond, and exploring the woods. It was very peaceful and the wildlife is remarkable! We will visit again!"

  • A Wonderful Place

"Our family stayed here for one week in early December and had a wonderful experience. Harold met us at the house with a warm welcome and made sure that we were settled in comfortably. We had been traveling a lot and the Christmas decorations in the house brought us a much needed holiday feeling and comfort. The kitchen had everything we needed -- it's nice not to have to buy basic spices for a one week stay -- and we enjoyed breakfast each morning watching the sunrise. Three of the bedrooms and two bathrooms are on the main level with the common areas, which made it perfect for our less mobile family members. The hot tub on the deck was FANTASTIC with the cold air and the beautiful scenery."
